How is this thing charging the batteries? Is it doing them in parallel?

Thank you for the followup response! Maybe I am asking the wrong question? I just purchased my first DJI and the cost of their batteries is wow. I want to keep them around as long as I can. I am not familiar with their "smart" battery but they do sound pretty spiffy. Is it DJI's smart battery that allows them to be charged all at once with varying voltages and amps? My experience with fixed wing and mini quads does not quite allow you to just "plug and play" as shown in this video. Thank you again!

@ highks, Thanks for the great pointers! I normally have to do all the "intelligent" work (and I'm not that smart) when messing with my other batteries! It will be nice to let it do all the thinking for me.
