just a note: intersexuality is a medical condition, usually chromosomal or hormonal, whereby one's primary and/or secondary sex characteristics take on nonstandard configurations. historically this condition was known as "hermaphroditism" after the greek god Hermaphroditus who had both a penis and breasts (a common enough combination for intersex people). the rate of intersex people who are transgender is the same as for dyadic (the word for non-intersex) people. intersexuality is not related to being transgender. intersexuality is also not a "lifestyle". you may have had it confused with "polyamory" (a lifestyle involving romantic relationships which are non-monogamous). when she said "i will not cut off my sex organs" she was likely referring to a specific marginalization faced by intersex people, whereby their doctors will insist their perfectly-functioning genitals or reproductive organs are "wrong" and should be removed. this is very common. it is, in fact, so common that such sterilizing cosmetic surgeries are often performed on infants, many times without even informing the parents. the doctor will simply cut out functioning, if malformed, tissue and then call the child a "girl" because they don't have visible external genitalia. again, this has nothing at all to do with transgender people or their struggle for rights, it is something that affects only people with intersex conditions. i am a medical doctor with an intersex condition who is, incidentally, also transgender, and it makes me keenly aware of these differences.

When I was 11, my step father took me to the er room of Waukesha memorial hospital and I had a chromosome test. The doctor told me on my second visit (to receive the results) that I needed to decide then and there if I wanted to be "a man" or "a woman" when I grow up, which would decide which drugs they would put me on. I liked being myself, and said i disagreed with parts of both men and women... but that wasn't an option in 1986.

Still, at least half her gender conversation is a symptom of her mental health. She keeps talking about herself as a man being pressured by society to be subservient to women and needing to get a wife- which we know isn't a thing that actually happens. Then she pivots to saying that black people are attacking her for being female and smart. So she is in this confused state where she feels that both men and women are the victim of society's sexism, while she flip flops between which one society thinks she is. I'm willing to bet she isn't actually intersex but that her schizophrenia leads her to believe she is.

The segment on Katalyka always makes me just feel so sad for her. At this point it's been a very long time since that began and ended, but every so often a little bit of it pops up again and it's just incredibly sad. Molly clearly needs a lot of mental health support that she isn't getting and likely never will. It goes so far beyond a failed game it's hard to watch at times, like you really are just seeing someone get progressively more and more unstable as the years go by.

Good ole American healthcare, where you need your job to sponsor your healthcare and if you are mentally unwell enough to hold a job down, you’re just S.O.L. Bonus points for mental healthcare generally not being covered by insurance. It’s mostly out of pocket, which just serves a fraction of the population.

Another one which kinda delivered but with so much controversy was Unbroken and the notorious golden bell studios which ended up on shark tank. I know someone that successfully kickstarted a board game, one the second try. On the first try they got to $40k out of $50k, then cancelled it because realistically it wasn't enough to fund the production of a board game. OK, fine. On the second try they set the goal at $10k, then declared it "THE FASTEST BOARD GAME TO REACH FUNDING IN KICKSTARTER HISTORY!" My brother, you cancelled that last kickstarter with more funds. Don't lie and say it was funded at the 10k mark. (To their credit, they did successfully launch by hitting $200k+, but christ that was such a lie on their page to say it was "funded" at $10k)

Can you look into Evil Dead 2 board game kickstarter? raising $700,000, sadly some of that was mine, and after everything I believe they were running a pyramid scam, using the money raised from one kickstarter to fund the last kickstarter campaign and so on, until one failed to get funding and we were left with scraps. Side note another company picked up the project and actually sent out the game but it wasn’t nearly what we were promised.

The only KS scams i got caught in was the Evil Dead 2 and Terminator games by Space Goats but i ironically got kicked out of the campaigns (refunded without having asked for it) for being too critical, so got most of my money back (the KS portion, not the PM portion) right before the campaigns crumpled. I don't think it's factually correct to call my campaign a scam. It was successfully funded, and i had already posted the finished game as a print and play version on the internet back in 2013. I did try to fulfill the backers, but too many problems came up, and i had to partly fail. No scam intended by me. I even lost more money than any of my backers attempting to fulfill my duty to them. I'm sorry it didn't work out and i feel bad about it. I already noted previously that the backers seemed to mostly be kind about my failure. It was people who didn't even buy any thing from me who monkey piled on me.

Have you covered Regium Chess before? I swear I remember that breakdown of how it's a stop-motion video before, and I can't think of many other places I would have seen a video about Regium Chess. I watched Tech Moan's video review of that new chess board, but I don't recall him doing a breakdown of Regium Chess' video.

This Person Does Not Exist is actually really useful for RolePlay websites if you want just a headshot for a character that isn't stylized. (Granted, I run a local Stable Diffusion installation and use stylized art for my characters, usually fantasy ones.)
