2nd story is ironic because despte the clear nepotism the dm was showing for his partner and friend, the rest of the group shrugged it off, but through it all, he decided to be a passive aggressive targetting prick because op made a male character both times. I imagine since they were all coworkers, he probably had some manager position that gave him some unearned sense of authority too.

That 3rd story, woof! I feel it so hard. My group has two people we've stopped inviting because of them being flakes. The first tried to deny it and other (non ttrpg) friends called him out as a total flake. The second guy was a slower, gradual process because of work and life, but it got so bad he was moving and getting married and we had no idea because he had stopped communicating with us. Oh well...

This is the fourth (or is it the fifth?) KZbin channel that mentions Billy the Bully DM, it's getting popular lately. Man, that Billy is the worst! But look at the bright side, his last actions backfired to him, everyone in the campaign realized how toxic Billy and the sorceress are, so they stop playing with them.

1st story: It just sounds like big dumb was trying to get a laugh out of the party with a comedic character and the intended jokes were falling flat. 2nd story: Ah this one. I'll repeat my points briefly from the last time I heard this one. - What would have screwed over this DM is a crafter. So many new players never touch craft or profession, and all you'd need to ruin this giant sword hating DM's life is the ability to craft new giant swords. - The other players didn't seem to try to help OP, which I think is fairly odd. - also, this system was pathfinder. you could easily retrain feats, classes, and train to improve your stats. downtime is your friend. 3rd story: I feel that there's more to this than OP's letting on. Its so short we don't really get a grip of what's going on. - DM starts group. - people no show it - DM gets mad and leaves. It sounds like OP tried to start a game with a group of people he barely knows, who weren't that interested in the first place. (that's me saying OP set himself up to fail then started crying about it)
