siblings don't have same DNA compositions. even identical twins may not have the same mix. there'll be slight difference.

Identical twins have the same DNA composition, but they can have different physical traits. Fraternal twins are the ones who do not have the same DNA composition

Siblings get a random selection of genes from each parent…. It could have been that his sister got no Japanese genes from whichever parent has that ancestry and then it would look like “she’s not Japanese” …. Siblings are not just carbon copies of genes … that’s why we’re all different.

You don't receive the exact same amount of ancestry from your parents. So different siblings including identical twins can have different abmounts of ancestral DNA from family members.So it does mean that both you and your sister likely have a recent Japanese ancestor and it either means both your parents are part Japanese or one parent is half.

They invaded Korea twice I believe. Koreans and Japanese are very close genetically - much closer than to the Chinese.

Wow Joe learned a whole lot of new things. I’d be a bit surprised as well if I found out I was part something that I didn’t know I even had in me lol. North Korean and more Japanese that you thought. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Well you’ve pretty much grown up Korean and stayed true to the Korean culture. Nothing wrong with a little Japanese too. 👍🏼 I love all the different cultures of the world and I especially love Asian cultures and foods! 😄 I AM curious about how Dads results will come out though! Shabbat Shalom my dear sweet brother Joe.I remember when that first came out .they held it in the college library and I was told that there was no records of my ancestors because of the trail of tears. My mother is Cherokee Indian and my father came to this country when he was 16. I knew that we all have a genealogy historical lineage incommen. So there's no DNA 100% proof testing 🤔 out there. Always do good and be kind to everyone, especially the house of faith. And study to show yourself approved before Abba Yahuah and mankind

When people do their homework on Korea, you will learn in the early 1900's Japan once ruled over Korea. That's why he has Japanese in Korean in him, it comes from his great great-grandparents who still stuck to their Korean culture even though Korea was taken over by Japan. So this is why he thought he was full Korean, that's why his father said he goes by the Korean culture and they are still Korean.

First born tend to have more of the maternal's DNA; thus look more like mum, so it's not unusual for 2nd child to have a bit of the paternal's DNA. Joe's first child with Alena looks more like her, because as their first born together, Alena's DNA is more dominant, it's normal to have the younger three to inherit a bit more of Joe's genetics. This also explains why Alena's very first child Amyah looks so much like her

However maybe some where down the line it’s obvious someone feel in love with a person outside of there race … Just LIKE YOU !! @@Sombia I know that, but what I am talking about is the genetic analysis of your ethnitic heritage. Every simple DNA test can tell you if someone is related to you. Like a paternity test.

@@1Jasmin the ethnicity portion is an estimate only. Should be taken with a grain of salt and its an algorithm that is usually updated once a year for accuracy. as u said, the part of the test that confirms relationships is 100% accurate.

That's because DNA is the luck of the draw. I saw identical triplets (who truly appear identical) take a DNA test, and each one had different % of each ethnicity despite being born of the same parents!!! It was sooo interesting!!
