I love SO much about this episode - but I think my favorite part is Rebecca yelling at Roy to stand up for what he wants - it's almost exactly the same speech HE gave HER about "Don't you DARE settle for 'fine'."

The music at the beginning and end of this episode is pertinent. Both pieces come from the stage musical "La Cage aux Folles", based on the French movie of the same name (which eventually was adapted into the American movie The Birdcage). It's about a middle-aged gay couple who agree to try to hide who they are, but eventually come out to everyone without apology.

Thank you for the info! Thats great to know.

So much great stuff here! I love Jade completely seeing through Rupert the second she meets him. I love Nate’s needing her hug after rejecting the man he thought could be his newest father figure when his sliminess is too much. The complete miscommunication between Colin and Isaac was so well done, and Colin seeking out Trent’s advice was perfect. Will witnessing so many personal moments in the boot room is a hilarious thread throughout, and it looks like he is starting to emulate the team’s resident sage, Higgins, in his evolving philosophy of life. But my favorite storyline is Roy’s, from Rebecca telling him to get his head out of his a** to his adopting Ted’s style of teaching a lesson through personal anecdote. Speaking of Rebecca, Hannah Waddingham really knows how to make a statement. “Oi, Kent, get your hairy a** into my office. NOW!!!” is one of my favorite line deliveries in this entire show. Also, to be shallow, she looks absolutely fabulous when she is wearing a form-fitting skirt or coat and striding away from the camera to confront a reluctant player (Zava at Chelsea) or coach (Roy here). I wish I had her hourglass figure.

Colin & Issac been friends since episode 1; they bullied Nate together in first episodes, they stood against Jaime together on his last days before going to ManCity, they where out together in the car with Sam when the show revealed Sam being the mystery guy Rebecca bren texting, etc

I love the fact they had Richmond playing Brighton for this episode. The writers never do anything by accident, and considering the main topic of the episode, it makes so much sense. As I am sure you are aware, Brighton is known for its openness and gay population and support, so its only fitting. More just brilliant writing on part of this amazing show. Also helps me, as I am a massive Brighton fan. Up The Albion!

Agreed, I abolutely love the show and had watched a bunch of US react videos (funnylilgal is the best of the US) but was super interested to see a couple of British fellas reaction to it. Interesting little sidenote I've also picked up on is the difference between men and women reacting to it too. Great job lads!

Season 2, Nate says Colin doesn’t inspire. Season 3, he had an inspirational performance. McAdoo was hurt because he and Colin are best mates. They bullied Nate together, then Colin backed up McAdoo when Jamie had to set up cones.

The title of the episode is a play on words from the movie La Cage aux Folles (The Birdcage in English) Pronounced “foal” the s is silent.

AFC Richmond’s club sponsor, owner of the airline Dubai Air. (5, 6) 8. The team's beloved kit man before Nate, a legend at AFC Richmond. (5, 6) look out for the down questions next reaction

I think the choice of languages in UK high schools varies from school to school. I did French from year 7-9 & then you could choose either French/German in Year 10 (or neither in my case 😂). If it's a high school in Wales then you also have to do welsh...which I found so much harder & confusing than French...It's a beautiful language with much heritage & history etc. but it's bloody confusing to say the least. 😅

Caught this video early. Currently in Paris. Was at the City Arsenal game. LONG time Arsenal fan from America. Cheered when Arsenal scored 22' in and got booted out. Absolutely gutted. Can't believe I've come all this way and paid loads of money for good seats and been kicked out because your fans can't control their reactions. Absolutely disgraceful
