Had my hida scan last week. Talked to the doctor today and my rate was 96.5%. I also have chronic Gerd scoring in the 40’s on the DeMeester scale from my Bravo clip I had placed. It’s no joke. I’ve been sick for years but have put it off until it got so bad I couldn’t swallow. I now have esophageal sphincter strictures from healed over esophageal ulcers. A hiatal hernia that will need fixing but only after my gallbladder and strictures are cleared. Biliary hyperkinesia is no joke!! Getting surgery within the next couple weeks. Wish me luck!

I’M BACK! Got to the route of my issues, sure enough, I have a GB Ejection Fraction rate of 100%. Yep. 100%. I spent the past year dodging surgeons, doing all the things they recommended to improve bile flow, low fat, and it was not working. I was about to give up and get surgery when I decided to try the HIDA scan. (Even though the surgeon said I didn’t need it)..And after my results, I was able to put it together. My “overactive” gallbladder was classified as “normal”. But I know that anything 80% + is hyperkinesia, which just happens to have shit for medical literature. It’s not very common. So, because of your videos I’d seen it the past- I understood my results. My system is too alkaline. This explains why ACV was oddly helpful. This explains the energy crashes, because I’m not getting that “fizzle” to adequately digest my food. (I’m a Pro Bodybuilder) So for the first time, I’m going to try HCL. No, I am not sure this will “cure” my hyperactive GB. That is something regarding my hyper sensitive CCK receptors and release, which I will have to study, to see if I can calm down that gut-brain peptide, or maybe possibly blunt my CCK release (gluten, loxiglumide, etc). But I am grateful, for the first time, to have an answer and a path forward that’s highly individualized and not just “being thrown into the gallbladder grinder like everyone else”. Sure, if I can’t fix it, I’ll be comfortable with surgery. I just really wanted to try in an actually meaningful way before I conceded. Now I can. I can’t thank you enough for the work you’ve done and making these issues accessible. Thank you.

I'm a big fan of your videos. I have been dealing with digestive issues and gall bladder pain for years. I've read your books and watched probably all of your videos. I was in a loop of chasing symptoms with the latest fad supplement or diet. Your program has taught me to focus on the cause. Unfortunately, this is not a happily ever after story. Yet. My problem is that with so many issues that can cause the same symptoms, I feel like I have traded chasing symptoms for chasing causes and am no closer to remedying my situation. Is one symptom caused by this or that problem or is that problem just another symptom caused by something else? Even looking at an aggregate of symptoms instead of just one symptom can be anecdotal and misleading. Is there a definitive way of testing to see if my issues are caused by low stomach acid, or poor bile flow, or bacterial overgrowth or undergrowth, etc. etc. etc. I did some trouble shooting with some HCL and Beet Flow as I was convinced my issue was low stomach acid, but I developed sever chest pain, which I assumed was reflux, and heart palpitations soon after which are continuing 3 months later. I had to put the HCL on hold. I cant say if the two problems are related or not and am working with my cardiologist on that one. Can you address the issue of testing for various digestive problems and also any connection between digestive issues and heart rhythm issues in future videos?
@KickItNaturally2 ай бұрын
Hey Keith, chest pain when starting HCL is very commonly a reflux issue. This video explains why that usually happens and what to do about it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHe9c6mXZsaKick I can't give advice on specific situations in video comments, but it's really about learning enough to understand what your body is trying to tell you. This page lists a variety of ways to get help or find your own answers: kickitnaturally.com/get-help/ IN the KIY support group, people fill out an imbalance guide like we teach how to do in the digestion course, and they can post that in the group and members help them figure out what they may be missing. It seems to help a lot. Keep at it and you'll get there and let us know how it goes.

Doc I’m a high fat ketogenic eater. I take tudca and digestive enzymes in the morning. My problem is after I eat about halfway through the day I have to run to the loo. It’s just water. When I do have a stool it’s pale and floating. I’m chasing symptoms of low bile flow but is it possible this isn’t my issue?
@kaitlananderson43022 ай бұрын
Hey there, this question isn't about too much bile but rather sludgy bile. I recently came across some information that I hadn't heard before and would love to get your opinion on it. So the theory goes that like 95% of bile is recycled by the body from the intestines and if you have a lot of toxins to deal with then the bile being recycled over and over can cause the bile to get sludgy. And that if you increase fiber(or other binders for bile) then you can bind the toxic bile and move it out in the stool therefore stopping the loop. Some people use the bean protocol by Karen Hurd to add soluble fiber and bind bile. I, for one, think I probably have a high toxin load and I don't eat a lot of fiber so it kind of fits for me. What do you think about this? Thanks
@KickItNaturally2 ай бұрын
Seems like you probably wrote this before you got to the end of the video when I talk about it. I do not use the bean protocol though. and yes, for MOST people, it is an issue of bile not flowing like we talk about in 50% of our videos. Here is our video on how to fix that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3PHh2mQiZ6qpbM
@kaitlananderson43022 ай бұрын
@@KickItNaturallythanks for your reply. You're right, I had not watched the end of the video yet. It was great to hear you talk about this. As a person who has done the things you recommend for bile flow I see results when I'm taking a LOT of the beet flow capsules but as soon as I stop taking them my bile stops flowing again. I'm wondering if not enough fiber could be a component for me considering I was carnivore and have now been animal based for a long time. I've read that it is the soluble type of fiber that binds bile. I am scared beans will be too hard on my gut. So I'm considering psyllium husk.

Can low stomach acid cause light colored stool? Like because it's not acidic enough to call on enough bile to digest high fat meals?

It sort of good in a very roundabout wayt, but in most cases, light colored stool is about poor bile flow like we talk about here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3PHh2mQiZ6qpbM

@KickItNaturally2 ай бұрын
Like I explain in many of my videos, I'm a fan of carnivore and you can actually improve some health issues by removing any vegetable fiberrs. BUT, over time, for some folks, the lack of fiber creates the problem I talked about in this video. For your own good, stay off any "My diet is the best" high horse and learn how to work with your body and your body chemistry instead of just doing what all the cool kids are doing.
