I am absolutely impressed. “I’m not a doctor”, but you are much more intelligent than a doctor. You educated me in such a basic way(even a 5th grader could understand), and I laugh so much throughout your videos. Now I’m going to get some betaine Hcl. I read about it before, almost purchased some but now because of your experience I am definitely moving forward. I am one of those people who became resigned to the fact that food is now my enemy and couldn’t enjoy eating anymore but just enough to survive. Such as the saying, living to eat, to eating to survive. Thank you from the depth of my heart for sharing your experience and then to help others. God bless!

Great video thanks a lot. To ease delayed gastric emptying: -No ACV (apple vinegar) since it can delay gastric emptying despite being acid (studies on internet). -Domperidone medecine before meal for short term solution. 1 to 3 times day. -5 or more small meals per day. -Ginger, artichoke or other prokinetic food help -Drinking water or liquid after of before meal, 30minutes gap minimum at least when possible Just my personal experience. Hope this helps. Delay gastric emptying sucks. I hate that brick epigastric feeling and burping that stay for hours. Which can lead to undigested food in stool, bloating and farts, weight loss. But most important: positive thinking. Meditation, abdominal breathing. Release all your tensions and bad energy to break the vicious circle and heal the gut-brain connection.

Nice comprehensive video. Thank you! I was diagnosed with gastroparesis a couple years ago. This was after major abdominal surgery for a giant paraesophageal hernia repair (a 2nd repair after 1st surgery failed) followed later by 3 rounds of triple/quadruple antibiotic therapy to get rid of a stubborn h pylori infection. Boy was my digestion a mess after all that!! Thus the gastroparesis diagnosis after an endoscopy. My GI doc told me to eat multiple small meals of things like white bread.😬 No thanks!! Fast forward to today, and these are the tips I would pass along that have helped me immensely: 1) Gastroparesis is a symptom, not a cause, of other underlying issues. 2) Keeping your stomach full continually by eating the recommended multiple small meals will keep you miserable continuously. 3) I needed to treat a SIBO infection caused by the antibiotics for my h pylori infection. Using a low fodmap diet and specific herbal supplements really helped, and I saw improvement in some of my symptoms. 4) This KZbin channel turned me on to looking at the possibility of low stomach acid. Taking digestive enzymes and ox bile (had my gallbladder removed in 2008) has made a HUGE IMPROVEMENT! 5) I also find quality probiotics to be helpful. I hope my experience may help someone else who is suffering from this debilitating condition. THANK YOU so much for your helpful videos!!

My mom was on ppi for many years until she developed growths on her esophagus side effect of those ppis and I read on them they have over 10,000 pending lawsuits because they cause cancer! I think they even took some off shelves at stores because of those lawsuits. Ppis are a temporary bandaid. Doctors should prescribe betaine acid to help with digestion!. I begged her to get off of ppis but she’s too scared because her doctor told her she’ll need them forever. I started her in slippery elm bark to help her stomach heal to hopefully get her off ppi.

One of the causes for delayed gastric emptying is Gilbert's syndrome, which I unfortunately discovered just recently not 10 years ago when I should have. I'd guess that could be the cause of my problems (dry eyes - 0 Schirmer which is debilitating, dry skin, dry hair, nausea, constipation, anexiety, dizziness...). I was tested, scanned, biopsied... for everything else and it's all negative. It's not just me that has these common Gilbert's symptoms. And this could also lead to poor gallbladder function- not enough stimulating acid in that duo thingy? At first I tought all this is just coming from gallbladder dysfunction (I noticed the 💩 colour is not as it's shown in this emoji), but after watching your videos I started Betaine HCL and constipation is "washed" away. I also ordered Beet flow, since high dose Taurine, Silymarin, TUDCA... produced no improvement after 1 year. If you could do a video on Gilbert's because there's a lot of us out here existing in misery. Just lowering bilirubin with Sun exposure, Calcium D-Glucarate... doesn't improve the symptoms. And "doctors" claim Gilbert's is benigne, so they aren't of much help. PS: I also take vitamin b1 to improve my Vagus nerve 😉
