oh dear, I was hoping this was the case, but my very loose stools are very dark brown, so would this mean that bile is not the likely cause. I had constipation until I adopted a carnivore diet. Is it just a matter of experimenting to try to figure out whether problem is too much or too little acid?

i’ve always been on constipation side still am, in the past i used to get nauseous like once every while and ill feel better when i vomit if i couldn’t vomit ill just put my fingers in my mouth to throw up go back lay down again the urge to throw up and the minute i throw up a green or yellowish bitter thing ill feel totally better my mom used to suffer frm that too. i wonder what that is n y i feel better when that is out each time i feel nauseated whether frm food, travel or surgical procedure keep throwing up and still feel nauseated by the way the worst kind of feeling but the minute that bitter yellowish bit of vomit comes out its like day n night can you explain what that is and why i feel better when i womit that one. once i had a small surgical procedure when i was out of anesthesia i had nausea kept throwing up had to put me fingers in my mouth to make myself vomit few times until the bitter yellow sometimes greenish water comes out once i vomit that im good i don’t know what that is how to fix it. because some people even after anesthesia or surgery don’t face the misery of that nauseous feeling but i do why is that please let me. oh by the way when i was forcing myself to vomit the nurse said don’t do that you need it that’s all i heard but if it’s something i need y i feel 100% when i vomit. srry if my question is all over the place but i hope u understand what my question is.

One early morning, I woke up with pain in my stomach , went straight to the hospital and found out I have this >>> Gall Bladder , Stones, GERD, Acid Reflux , Erosion Esophagus . For the first 2 years , I did more research then ever , stressed out , sick, went to 10 hospitals with in several months and NOT one doctor "ER" could tell me what was wrong . Then I found out last year 2023 , I had Hiatal Hernia , and this year 2024 , I had Low Stomach Acid . When you have a lot of things wrong at the same time, it become OVERWHELMING . And then this year 2024 , I found out , up to 20 family and friends have Acid Reflux , Esophagus issues . I bought TC Hale Book and that helped me a lot on Amazon . Which I highly Recommend. I take Apple Cider Vinegar with meals, it doesn't do anything for me. I tried taking ox bile with food, it didn't really do anything. I tried taking ox bile 2 hours after my meals, it gave me bile acid diarrhea. I just don't know what's going on with my digestion... it's a mystery! But I know I have issues with malabsorption and the loose stool has something to do with it.

@princ3charmingАй бұрын
If it's excess Bile you're producing, TUDCA can make it worse. It's mainly for blocked gall ducts or sludge, bile insufficiency, or other liver diseases. If you produce excess Bile (which is also common) - a good thing to try is either Psyllium husk, Sucralfate, or good old Pepto Bismol. Or Colestyramine if you can get a prescription. They all bind excess Bile and reduce it's harmfulness in the GI tract. Generally, if you're prone to frequent loose stools or IBS- D, you're likely to have excess bile (the term is BAM- Bile Acid Malabsorbtion) If you're prone to constipation, poor motility, or IBS-C, you're likely to have a bile insufficiency. But these are only generalizations and there are always exceptions

Thank you so much for all of this information. I have had loose stools/diarrhea with intermittent normal stools, for about 10 years. I originally thought my loose stools were due to a high stress job, just nerves. But, I am now retired with little to no stress, as well as eating healthy and active. I felt that I always had a balanced healthy diet and exercised, stayed in shape. However, in the last 2 years I have worked diligently on my microbiome. I’m eating low carb, high fat and protein. I’m at a perfect weight, but still experiencing diarrhea. Sometimes it is a pale light brown stool and sometimes brown, when it is solid it is thin and brown. A few months ago I was also diagnosed with SIBO. I had to beg the gastroenterologist for the test, then was given the antibiotics. Nothing has changed. The doctor refuses to offer suggestions or advice, only wants to do a colonoscopy. She says maybe it’s colitis. She never once mentioned bile or stomach acid. Why can’t we get to a root cause, why such an invasive test? I think I might be experiencing a bile flow issue, based on your information. I just ordered Bile Flow. Once I start this supplement how will I know it is working? Will I have normal stool? If it’s not a bile issue and instead is a stomach acid issue will the stool continue to be loose? What should I look for a as an improvement marker? Thanks again. I guess it’s up to us to research and diagnose ourselves because the medical community just doesn’t care and does not help you look for a solution. It’s the great folks like yourself and others that are online who have put in the time and education to share a wealth of information for our individual health.

This was going on for years so we went to a GI surgeon and he recommended benefiber (without the sugar) with probiotics and taking 2 tablespoons daily in the morning. He said that it works like a binder like the medication this doc mentions. It’s been about two weeks now and she no longer has any of the symptoms however still watches her diet. The medical profession doesn't want to waste ( his / her ) time , if ( he/she ) not making huge amounts of $$$$$$ . And I am NOT speaking about all of them. I totally have another G.I. doctor who "ONLY DOES TESTING " and he does the test, I have done every 6 months to keep tracked of Esophagus. Which, I appreciate . It's hard to find a "good physician" in this region. They either leave to another State or retire at a young age. This is why, people will travel to the next state to visit with "Good Physicians" . Im thinking if your stomach is not acid enough, it wouldn't trigger bile flow in the duodenum. Likely resulting in some undigested food in the stool. Raw carrots would be something that would show easily in the stool in that case. Of course I still cant figure out why i have weeks of right rib cramps after an episode of what i think was a mild gallbladder attack. No huge pain, just fullness, tightness and cramping under the rib that gradually subsided over several weeks. Yet still have a slight tightness under that rib.

Cholestyramine 100% game changer for me. I know it’s a sequestrant, which you didn’t recommend. But for about a year now I’ve been taking this daily and have absolutely zero symptoms after decades of BAD (not knowing symptoms were caused by BAD until we tried this)! Do you know anything about thr fgf19 hormone which has been shown to possibly be the cause of bile acid malabsorption by not regulating the bile and then not recycling the necessary bile and allowing it to run through the intestines. Some studies have shown that berberine and milk thistle could help to regulate this hormone like bile acid sequestrants do. Great video btw! 👍

I have attacks under my ruq like a calf cramp that shoots up my neck and lasts about 3 to 5 mins. Its severe i pace until it subsides, i thought it could be a stroke but none of my doctors know. I at times use the restroom 10 to 20 times a day, incomplete defication. Ive had every type of pooh on the chart. The color varies and does appear to be clay colored when im having bad days. I also do poop blood clots that most times relieves pressure under the center of my rib cage the pressure lasts weeks and i know before i look it will be all blood. My doctors say hemroids but they really dont listen to me or the symtoms. Ive been through the ringer and have had every test multiple times. @willsmith4355 same here- they took out my gallbladder 7 weeks ago too- I had no stones, some sludge. Stones ner showed up on any scans, they said it may be functional too- a motility disorder. The pain persisted, afterwards did an ERCP which showed 1 large stone in my liver ducts- this never showed up on any scans, everything was always normal except high liver levels on my bloods. Because the stone couldn't be removed during the ERCP as it was too large I had to do a PTC procedure. Turns out I had 4 large stones- again never showed up on ANYTHING for 7 years. It's been 3 weeks since the removal of the stones, life's been abit tough because the bathroom trips since hallbladder removal haven't stopped! I guess the body has to adjust to no gallbladder :/ please listen to your body, for years I was told it was in my head, turns out I had stones literally blocking my interhepatic ducts!

Great video and it made me think differently. Suppose my gallbladder isn't working properly, so there is too much HCl in the intestines, would Colestyramin mask this? In other words they say if you take Colestyramin and it eases your diarrhea, then you have BAM. But is that true alltogether?

@@dontdisturbthisgroove8848 Even GI specialists have no knowledge on BAM. It is in the literature that you best try out Cholestiramine right away and see if it helps. Same for my Dad. He had chronic kidney disease. When Mum died, we moved in together. One explosive accident after another (poor bugger) I thought we have to bulk this up. He was on heaps of medications too. So the suggestion from me was have breakfast, then have your medications, he had part of his colon removed years ago, so quick transit time. Suggested Metamucil at night because I read it can assist sleep, not in a Stillnox way as his insomnia was next level which made mine next level. Long story long, we were seeing results. But it took a trip to ER the 5th of many stints in hospital having a phone conversation with a doctor that I asked was the Metamucil okay to take. Oh yes definitely. I said can you tell Dad that because if you say it, he will happily do it. I miss him heaps. The irony is now I have gut issues. I think he has possed me to let me know what it feels like to not make it to the toilet. He would appreciate your sense of humour. I have been documenting my poops or lack thereof, talk about variety, the best / worst was only eating pepita seeds for a day. I'm going to give your 4week plan a go.
