Do most cars accelerate quicker in reverse? The Car Lab, Episode 2

In Episode Two of The Car Lab our team use the hypothesis that because engines are heavy, cars with front-fitted engines should be able to accelerate quicker in reverse. What do you think?
Our team test this out with a rapid Honda Civic Type R on The Car Lab race track. With 3 seconds each way it's a battle to see which direction will be quickest.
