Nice young man decided to take moms car for a drive on the beach . He didn't know the portion of beach in front of The World Mart Resort is closed to driving this time of year . His first clue might have been the 16 foot fence with the stop sign on it across the road . he moved the fence aside and hit the beach . In his defense there were other cars driving in the closed area and the sign did not say do not enter it just said stop

Hey these mini vans are my bread and butter . Pass the word they are awesome off road vehicles . I would recommend that all mini van users hit the beach as much as possible . They seem to work best at high tide ,

I remember back in the 70's I got stuck on the beach at the OBX. A driver came by and pulled me out and charged me 75.00. A hour later he was stuck on the beach. I pulled him out and got my 75.00 back. He never charged again.

40 years ago I would have done the same thing . Difference being it would have been 1 in the morning I would have driven over the fence two or three times cut cookies up and down the beach and then hauled ass out of there . We all have had our moments of fame . Some caught on camera fortunantly most of my moments were never recorded . I do get reminded once and a while from my old partners though .

when I was younger my buddy and I drove my 1972 Plymouth fury out into a corn field looking for pheasant to hunt. buried that car up to the running boards. Had to call for a tow truck. He almost got his truck stuck pulling us idiots out. Ha.

hey my friend you looking for an experienced tow truck operator, i have my own '07 international 4300 with a jerr dan body and a 2015 f550 with a dynamic 701 bdw wrecker body on it. its an auto loader, with a lot of upgrades on it so i can use it as a work horse wrecker. looks like your always busy towing and doing rollovers which are my two favorite things. i also manage our families auto body shop so im experienced in estimate writing and managing a shop as well.

STOP and DO NOT ENTER means everyone but city slickers. Tows should not be allowed. Sacrifice stupid cars/trucks/motorhomes to the beach. They make good breakwaters.

Yeah, they should totally do that. That way the car's liquids will pollute the ocean and shore and the beach will be nice and ugly as hell with rusted hazardous cars lining the beach. Totally the kind of beach I want to go to. Next time try very hard to use the frontal lobe of your brain before typing.

How long is that tow rope, and how often do you end up needing to replace it?

The thick piece i'm using is about 20 feet . I also carry about 250 of thinner rope I use when I want to get to harder ground or to stay out of the water . The rope will last for about a year

When I go atving alone I don't do anything questionable unless there's something close to winch from. These people were lucky they were in an area with cell phone coverage. Nothing will make you more careful than getting stuck somewhere then having to walk a few miles to make that phone call.

In our area sometimes you have to walk off road and up a steep bank to get spotty service . Verizon has pretty good service but AT&T suck

That must make them even happier to see your truck arrive, lol. It's funny, I was looking at videos of smiling happy people riding atvs across the dunes by the beach and thought, "Wow, that looks like fun!" and then "I wonder how many of those trucks get stuck in the sand?" And i came across your videos... glad I camp where there's trees everywhere. The winters in Ontario keep our tow trucks busy enough, the only sand I see is what they put on the roads.

We have 28 miles of beach but it is illegal to ride off road vehicles on it . We do see many 4x4s and SUV's though .

HUH Can't hear yah damn exhaust is too loud . I'm afraid to work around he manifold . sure as heck it is going to break and them I will be trying to fix broken bolts in the heads . Salt air is a real problem . The bolts do not even look like bolts anymore just a round pile of rust . pretty sketchy

Backing up to the scene is old school. You just never know if you have room (or hard surface) to turn around at the other end... and you only want to do it once.... not make a 3 point turn and get stuck yourself.
