"NO FRANK GORE MOMENTS"?!?!? Did Chris forget Gore's 110 yards with a TD in the Super Bowl? Or Gore's FOUR TD's in the 2012 post-season? Did he forget Gore rushing for OVER 500 yards in a 3-game stretch in 2006? Or when Gore busted off 5 straight 100 yard games in 2009? Did he miss all 3 times Gore had 70+ yard runs? Or when he dropped nearly 250 yards from scrimmage against Seattle in 2009? Or when Gore rushed for almost 1,700 yards at age 23 after two ACL surgeries? Or when he had 100+ rushing yards on the ground AND 11 catches for nearly 100 receiving yards on top of it against Arizona in 2007? On Sunday, he bounced off 3 defenders and rumbled for a 41 yard gain and dropped 100+ on the world champs at age 55 or something, en route to 15,000 rushing yards, and when he's done, only 2 guys EVER will have rushed for more yards than him. He did it in a PASSING era, on a lot of bad teams where the defense knew the ball was going to him but couldn't stop him anyway. Zero diva attitude. Zero teammate problems. Beloved by players, fans, and coaches everywhere he goes. Shame on Chris marginalizing him. He's not just Hall Of Fame, he's first ballot.

I think he has the resume to be a first ballot HOF'er. However, it will all depend when he retires and who retires that same year. For instance if Gore retires the same time as Brady and AP that will greatly reduce his chances of being a first ballot HOF'er. Gore has been great but his name doesn't ring bells like Brady and AP.

I remember the moment when he broke through the first level of the defense and Frank Gore had 6 rams defenders surrounding and made them all look stupid as he made it look so easy to score a TD. I remember when he got to the hole too quickly and completely stopped did a squat and then proceeded to run 45 more yards. I remember the time Frank picked up blitz's better than any runningback ever and totally shut down everybody with his impeccable pass blocking. I remember when he overcame 3 knee surgeries in college and is soon to be 3rd all time in rushing. I remember that only he and Emmitt Smith have 200 career games played. Frank Gore is a treasure and a legend

Probably the biggest reason, he doesn't get enough recognition. However, TD's best years, as few as there may have been, were better than Frank Gore's best years. So if I was building a long-term situation, I'd take Gore, but for an epic few set of seasons or so, I would take TD.

Terrell Davis had his career cut short by injuries. He also was the MVP of that broncos super bowl season. They probably wouldn’t have been nearly as successful without him. Terrell Davis definitely deserves to be there

For a four year stretch, TD was the best rb in the league by far! 2000 yard rusher and powered the broncos to two súper bowls. Had his career not been cut short by injuries, there’d be no question to his Hall Of Fame worthiness.
