I've been try to make Sticktwister work, with mixed results. I went the Golgari route mostly because I'm not of fan of mono-coloring, but I can see the appeal with how you've put yours together.

As commanded, I tried playing Render Inert in Bo1 for about two hours to see if I could catch a Dimir player out. Sadly, despite half my matches yesterday being Dimir Demon/Jace combo, I only hit one, and they managed to duress both of my Render Inerts outta my hand. That said, in a lot of matches, t3 green overlord, into a t4 render inert to bring the overlord in, attack with a 6/5 and get another land was kinda awesome.

This is so fun to play. Feels less clunky than Rakdos Viper Sac and I guess with Authority of the Consuls seeing play your Forges would be dead weight anyway.

Nice deck.. Sticktwister performed well in limited - against me - but just OK when I played it. Dunno if it needs an equipment to power it up but The Irencrag might be OK as a ramp rock that can be turned into an equ and or sacrificed.

I could be missing something but I believe you missed potential lethal at 26 minutes in. If you swing out with all three creatures they have to block slasher and lose their demon. If they block stick twister they take 5 and go to 4 then slasher takes them to 2 and braids sac lilliana kills them. If they block Braids they take 4 then slasher takes them to 2 (because it rounds up) and you can play braids in hand and sac lilliana for lethal. I think they would probably block braids but if they play it safe and block slasher they do survive but you are in a stronger position. If they block slasher they take 5, go to 4 then you get them to 2 with braids sac Lili and they have to discard or sac the enchantment to stick twister. Next turn they play the demon and you swing with both creatures and they are at 3 so they have to block braids and go to 1 then you play braids from hand and sac a creature forcing them to sac the demon.

Sticktwister is too weak because it gives the opponent too many choices. Too often they'll have something they don't mind saccing or a card they don't mind discarding.
