I would have never pictured the 2 of you together here in the U.S., but looking at you here, I say you are a good fit! Becky seems so free style, while Cedi comes across as mellow and low key. Together, you have good energy and vibes! ✌🏾

I lived in NC for 15 years (Chapel Hill)....miss that place. For hair, my wife and I have been going to Beauty Lei near Sinsa station. I'm sure there are a lot of great beauty salons to choose from, but our hair stylist is super nice/kind and always does a good job...ask for Hyemi if you go :)

Cedric I have wondered if you still went to that barber shop. You seemed to like the cut that you received. If you are able to find a salon/barber with a pleasant atmosphere along with good service, that is a treasure. FYI, you are doing a great job with your cuts. Becky, you must know that Cedric DEFINITELY has no regrets meeting and connecting with you. His smile proves that. As usual, great content. It felt like/feels like just relaxing and conversing with friends. Stay well and safe. Looking forward to more videos. Saranghae. :) :)

Thank you so much for the kind words Veda :) I did like the haircut from the barbershop I went to last year for sure, but for me to go out there every week or two for a cut would take 45 min + $25 each time. But if I found a good place nearby, I think I would consider! And we look forward to releasing more videos soon!

Cute jumpsuit, Becky. Cedric, 2 subwoofers=drop_the_base! I remember viewing the video of your mom's visit to S. Korea. 40 years of change was a new experience for your mom. I'm "putting my toe in the water" to come to S. Korea. I recently communicated with a recruiter from a level 4 university in Daejeon who was needing an educator with my credentials to teach English for the spring semester. I'm currently teaching in the states, so maybe in the fall. I'm a little scared to do it, but I want to. Any suggestions on how not to be afraid of an international move? PS: Cedric, I got a vibe that you were going to propose to Becky in this video! Love your content. Keep making videos.
@skycedi4 жыл бұрын
haha Thanks Lynn! I must be giving off some strong vibes in this video then 😅 And that's awesome about your connection to a university in Daejeon. I know a few foreign teachers who teach at the university level here and all of them love their job (great pay, benefits, scheduling, etc.) So of course considering the opportunity suits you, it may be worth a consideration :) A few suggestions is that you can find an expat community in Korea to help give you a community while you transition here. There's a big expat community in Seoul and a also a decent size community in Daejeon. This will be super helpful. There are also expat communities online (Facebook groups) that can help you with questions and such. I may have a few videos that I've done in the past that may also help if you want to scroll through!

I move from America East Coast to the West Coast, do I have regrets? NO! I do miss family members but most of my aunties and uncles and grandparents who was the root of the family have all pass on into the next life. Life moves on like the seasons wherever you are you must treat life and people with respect and be thankful that you are able to move about and remain healthy.

Dwelling on regrets holds you back from fulfilling your purpose , we all make decisions that may not have the best results but if we learn from those decisions and their outcomes we grow in ways that not only help achieve our purpose but sustain us within that purpose.

The jumper is cute from the top, which I can see! I especially like the color! My honest opinion is that because of the recent racial climate downturn here in the U.S., I can see that Korea would be a better fit for you two. Hopefully, you would not have in their society the racial profiling by police or hateful bigots! Plus, just watching you both here in these videos, you seem so open to new experiences and can manage the change that comes with being exposed to an entirely different culture. You two seem to be living your best life, so carry on! So marvelous just looking in from the outside at what is shown in the videos! ✌🏾

두분 모두 화이팅~~~^^ You are the treasure of our society and the very citizen with whom we must build our nation more livable and better. Korea has been one of the most homogenous countries in the world but changing into more diverse society today in more positive wise. Wish you a fantastic life in Korea.
