I think they are an amazing and thoughtful and loving relationship but I think Sadie, as someone who has been in your shoes before and has a similar personality and sensitivity to the world, being on your own and navigating life on your own AND being COMFORTABLE with that is fundamentally crucial before thinking about being with someone else long-term. We all can only say from the place we are at NOW that something feels right but if you get deep in touch with yourself, you can find whether it is something that is right for you NOW or whether you see it longer term.

At 39, in a soon-to-be 9 years relationship with someone older than me, I still find myself wondering about the concept of “The One”. Compatibility is such a weird concept, because I think there is plenty of “more compatible” people around than the ones that are actually in our lives. But the people in our lives are often there for a reason, if we are deliberate about it. We grow with them, we change, hopefully for the better but we’ll always be adjusting, evolving. I know I can be SO happy when my gf shares something I love doing, but I try reminding myself that if she doesn’t I can be happy sharing it with someone else. Friends are great for that (and I definitely do not have enough of them lol). My gf is someone I can count on no matter what, someone that chose to dedicate her time and energy to build a life with me. Such a big deal compared to the details I often lose myself into.

My twin flame and I are not together. But you guys make me think of us so much. I so relate to Sadie and her stillness and P needs to move just like my TF. When Sadie says, “I want a divorce“ and then a minute later says “I’m going wherever you go”. It’s like hearing myself. Sadie, on getting nauseous in cars. I have found I must always look ahead. No phone play or reading. Definitely no sleeping.

Sadie, there is no excuse to stop going places in the car. Because, there are motion sickness pills available at chemists. And as I told you before, sit on a paper bag in the car, this helps. Also you can buy a static strap to attach to th car. Make sure it touches the ground while driving. This is the oldest remedy ever. Good luck.

I too enjoy some of the black & white classic movies like P, and I too love L-Word, YOU, and Julie and Julia, Sound of Music, Mrs. Doubtfire like Sadie. Thanks for this fun Q&A and answering my question. Now I have another question though- regarding twin flames, P. seemed certain that you two are soulmates rather than twins, and my question is what leads her to this conclusion? Are there any characteristics of your dynamic together that brought you to this understanding?

Great video and questions. Love when you're being so real. I wanted to share my experience on what you said that you don't like to disclose in public that you're a couple. My ex girlfriend was 21 years older than me and physically it was very obvious that I was much younger. We lived in London at the time and I was worried about being judged for sure. She was very relaxed and she refused to "hide" so we were always walking hand in hand and sometimes even kissed in public. No one ever said anything or treated us differently. It definitely depends on the place for sure though. More recently I was in Mexico with my more recent ex who is the same age as me and people were definitely staring sometimes and judging us even though the Caribbean area is very touristy and more open

Sadie I can relate to your experience so much, I don't want to move to another country but I have to because I'm lesbian and I'm from Iran
@storybellz2 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry that you have to do that. I'm half Iranian, half American, and I live in the US. I have never met my Iranian family in person, and I am scared that if they knew the real me, they wouldn't love me anymore, or even that they would hurt me, heaven forbid. So, if I was in Iran, I would probably try to leave too. God bless you on your journey. Be safe, and may you always have love.

Ooh thats a recipe for disaster for me. The best thing is to sit in front, make sure I ate something beforehand, and to look out to a point as far off as possible to get a sense of the cars movements. If it’s a windy, curvy road though, forget about it I always get carsick 🤢

@SadieP2 жыл бұрын
Italy is so much more accepting of gay people! Muslim countries in general are very scary when it comes to homophobia and crime rates related to that. Italy is definitely a huge improvement! We mostly just hide because of the huge age gap. But yeah there are lots of lesbians here. 😉

Or you could say one of the strongest. Most relationships probably couldn't handle the amount of honesty this one has. The fact that they are able to be no-holds-barred honest with each-other about everything shows that there is a real strength to the relationship.
@SadieP2 жыл бұрын
I haven’t been in that many relationships but I feel like this is the healthiest one I’ve ever been in/witnessed. Especially from growing up with domestic abuse as a reality in my parent’s relationship. I never wanted to experience something like that. And so I really manifested the sweetest person. She is so kind, funny and very accepting of me! Sure she doesn’t meet my every need but who does? There are always things that could be better. But the core of our relationship is strong because we wanna be in eachothers lives so badly, that we have become eachother’s family. I feel closer to her than my own blood relatives at this point. And that is something I will never give up..
