Nice talk and it's so refreshing to listen to a young lady who is living her life from her Spirit and not what society expects . My favorite sweatshirt says, "I Am Not A Label."

Whatever she dreamt of, she accomplished only to realise that all the dreams were based on the approval of other person and that something is missing. Then she followed her heart. Beautifully shared❤️ claps👏👏

great conveyance. I've had a similar arc for sure. I do wonder whether or not she's obtained financial independence though. in exploring this stuff myself, I've found I wound up with a lot more room for art once I found financial independence (I'm not proud of that, just saying that's been my experience). when you can decouple your headspace/daily-activity from earning money, life shifts. if you don't have that luxury, the equation feels more complicated. bravo regardless. much better presented than anything I would have cobbled together.
@sueheilbronner8 жыл бұрын
Jud, I appreciate your creating room for art. I think a LOT of people who get more financial independence either (a) create a new bigger goal for what that phrase means that keeps them locked into something they don't love; or (b) have a really hard time transitioning from something that gave them "meaning" into something that gives them meaning. From over here, your path strikes as something to be proud of;).

to be able to do what you do, first of all you need to live in the first world. Secondly, you need a strong educational and financial foundation. This unfortunately does not apply to over 90% of people in the world. Lucky you!

Wow it’s almost as if a person’s life experience and subsequent advice won’t resonate with every person on the planet. Go figure. 🤔

This talk reminds me of the hipster era of 2012-14 . This talk is like a string of bumper sticker quotes (like 8:12) while trying to hype yourself and telling everyone about your several grand accomplishments (even a single one of which is a pipe dream for the average person btw) while also rejecting the praise and saying you dont see them as accomplishments .

It's funny how she talks about social validation as a thing she doesn't need anymore, yet she is basically sharing it with a few hundred people, which obviously shows that she is still dependant on social validation.
@mmmarvel8 жыл бұрын
Not sure if she's still in it for the validation, could just be an interesting talk by someone who did something different and interesting ... like 'inventing' the like button.
@jeffreychow88538 жыл бұрын
shimmy jimmy To share does not imply a specific motivation for sharing. There are many reasons beyond validation. Every movie, every book, every speech and every form of mass communication is not solely created simply for the approval of others. Some are shared for the sake of sharing. But in this case, I believe she is sharing her story in hopes it might connect with another as it did with me. Thanks Leah!
@ellen40788 жыл бұрын
the energy behind her action is different. the first one is dependency. The second one is the joy of sharing and she enjoy doing the drawing thing. it is a different experience for her from her perspective. peace

Nice talk. My remarks: 1. She can be taken as a case study for many women. You can do anything if you work hard. ... Looking at feminists. 2. Women are mosty not tech oriented. I refused to believe this myself, but it is true. 3. She has beautiful legs.
