Boundries and Trusting the process have become my key word/ phrase for 2019.

Too many people are concerned with what someone else will think if you don’t do something. The most powerful thing that you can do is to get delivered from people. It will change your life. It’s a necessity and part of self-care. Now I’m not saying go ham on folks but respect yourself enough to block out the noise and take care of you first. #Facts

Stephan Speaks... you seem very humble. The fact that you took the time to respond to some of your followers, given the number of followers you have at this point, speaks volumes.

I have been there for all my life.. But now I see better. Do better and feel better

Yes, this was me in my teen years. I remember how much I would dread going to work (everybody does and I still do but then compared to now it was much worse) because I allowed my coworkers and even customers to dictate my actions. Then when I got home I would be so exhausted. I would cry sometimes and not know why. Practicing self love even though I’m a beginner has really improved every aspect of the quality I am receiving for my life. It is a hard process for me right now because everyone in my family thinks I come off as selfish but hopefully I can be a vessel to lead them to cater for themselves too.

Not in a relationship so I’m just going to kick it into high gear & focus all my energy on God, me, my fam/friends. 🙏🏾 If someone comes along that I truly feel connected to, then cool. ❤️ But I’d rather pull back before I get caught up in the fantasy/idea of something. 🙈💭

Loving Yourself is never selfish💖
@bantuerverh6073 жыл бұрын
We have two different types of self-love one of them is selfish but the biblical one is not. The book of Proverbs says to live by the wisdom means you love yourself. Which is the word right? Another scripture tell us to put others need before I own. Facts truth.

Every one should take time out every week to do something to increase their self-love. It doesn’t have to be big...it could be as simple as a bubble bath. I tell my older kids to watch the 5 year old for 30 minutes. Don’t let him knock on the door and handle whatever he does...because I am not here...then I lock myself in my bathroom with music and candles to just relax.

What's really sad is that I was raised (grandmother, mother, aunts and indirectly by all male family members) that I was to always look out for others before self. I watched it cost my maternal relatives their physical and mental health. I learned the truth late but not too late to let history repeat itself in me.
@taytayshaniqua.86863 жыл бұрын
@@queenofswords1111 amen my brother! I also stayed with a relative and I got so burnout. The funny thing is that during that period you breakdown without knowing why. Unfortunately for me I always told myself I was just acting weird, when in reality I had every right to breakdown even though I didn’t understand

💯 agree, loving and taking good care of ourselves is a priority, it's not selfish. If we don't be good to ourselves, who on earth will take care of our bodies for us?

I definitely agree... It caused me to feel emotionally and mentally drained by jumping from person to person. I've been single for a year... I'm working on loving myself So I can be in position to receive the man that God has for me

PROVERBS 18:2 "A FOOL HATH NO DELIGHT IN UNDERSTANDING, BUT THAT HIS HEART MAY DISCOVER ITSELF." A fool is not interested in learning. He just is interested in his own thoughts. Today, in our society, the favorite statement is "I need to get off and find myself". This is foolish talk. In finding yourself, you are pleasing your own flesh. If this is a married person doing this, they usually find more than themselves. This type of activity breaks up families. We must somehow get our eyes off of ourselves and stop trying to please self. Only a fool pleases self. A wise person is interested in pleasing God. Go off and seek God. STAY WITH GOD!!!
