Those clip on candles are adorable! My mother could actually remember when her Christmas tree as a child had real candles. My grandmother would light the candles and then my mother and my aunt would be allowed into the room to see the fully lit tree. This lasted about 3 minutes and then the candles would be extinguished. They wouldn't be lit again. One time was all you got.

I love the glitter! It can be messy but it’s actually so beautiful outside when the sun is shining on my decorations it sparkles! Even in the house when the tree is on! You either love it or hate it but it does make decorations more magical 🌟😊

I’ve already started gathering some beautiful pieces, even found (at DT) some white trees with pink iridescent ribbon. Several beautiful pink bottle brush trees and pink ornaments at TJ Maxx. I literally haven’t been this excited for Christmas in ages!

I bought the $5 ivory colored lantern at the end of summer because it matches my outdoor deck and have just changed the kind of decor on it seasonally. It had fall faux floral, little pumpkins, etc.that I took off and replaced with summery faux floral and little flip flops and butterflies, now it's decorated for Halloween. I'll put the autumn floral back on in November, then change out monthly or seasonally the rest of the time. It's super cute, I can customize it the way I want, especially so it doesn't look too rustic, and they add a little extra light in an area of my home where we spend a lot of time.

I absolutely love those lanterns. Any faux candle suits me as I’m on oxygen. How I wish I could shop at Dollar Tree this Christmas…How I wish Dollar Tree would let us purchase their items online-NOT in expensive bulk. I’m a bedridden old woman with no family about, & I wish I could get the things you show. The DT prices fit my little Social Security only income. I love Christmas SO much. Our Dollar Tree has adorable plush Elves. $1.25! I made special “ Elf” boxes to sell at upcoming craft shows, got cookie boxes with the clear window on the front- put in the Elf, 2 red Hershey kisses, a candy cane, an Elf adoption sheet in an envelope with a Christmas sticker on the front , and a letter from the Elf for the child. I tied the box with an elf ribbon from DT too. Added a huge jingle bell and a special tag “ A New Elf Friend”. Dollar Tree had all those cute things . I hope they will sell at my craft shows. They are adorable. AND thanks for sharing all these things from DT. I hope my local stores will have those amazing items! Merry Christmas!

I also make trays of Christmas scenes, but I use epsom salt mixed with white glitter as snow. I found two gnomes on skis several years ago, and they make the cutest tray.... with trees and pine cones!

Last year my sister and I got together to work on crafts. What we didn't tell each other at the beginning is that we were making Christmas gifts for each other. We both had already started the gifts we were making, but didn't have time to finish them. About halfway through we admitted the craft items were gifts. We had so much fun we decided to make a tradition of getting together and making gifts for each other. I loved the mouse in the tray and will be making something similar for my dear sister.

Candles on trees…my mom was born in 1915 (r.i.p.) and she said when their tree was lit with real candles one of the children had to sit there with a bucket of water for ‘just in case’ so yeah, I love the ones you shared here.

I've watched movies made in the 70s and 80s based in the 1900s and saw the trees with the candles. They looked beautiful but I always wondered how they kept them safe. Some company sells LED candles and they look cute but I feel one would need to buy many packs to cover a full size tree.
