Thank you for the video! I heard you say you buffed off the ceramic coding. Was that so the tape would stick better? Do you think that is an important step? Also, I’m trying to decide whether to do this myself or take it somewhere. You make it look easy. Any advice? I’m definitely a noob. Thank you for your time!

Yes I had to buff off the ceramic coating so that the double sided tape would stick to the body. I wouldn't say this is hard but very time consuming. If you aren't well versed with this type of work I would definitely recommend taking it somewhere. I've had people tell me they don't do any drilling and all they did was use the double sided tape. If they still have it on I dunno. But i suppose that is another option if you didn't want to drill

I have had some poeople tell me that they mounted it without doing the sides with no issues. But I will leave that up to you on whether or not to omit that step.

No problem. And yes all I did was call around to my local dealerships to see who could order me the parts. Hood, spoiler, and shift knob all had to be ordered from three different dealerships.

So I tried ordering one of these from 3 different Toyota dealerships and all of them are saying they are VIN locked and will not sell them to anybody anymore. If you have a Core, you can’t get a CE Spoiler. It’s dumb because I got a CE Hood no problems…
