What about docking in 20 knots blowing against the dock, while the dock in concrete and rough, and you do not have bow thrusters?

Are the engines still Hino, or you have repowered them? The joystick is an upgrade?

Yes the engins are Hino 150 hp. And the joystick is to the bowthruster and its not from faktory.

the film so pretty much blows, check the flag. when there is no wind, I do not use bowthruster. This is hardly so bowthruster bothered to move the boat. the boat does not move from the dock at idle, I have to increase the RPM of the engines, to be able to leave the bridge. the hard part, is to slow down the boat in time, when the wind blows toward the bridge, so the boat does not hit hard in the bridge.

The black ones are gear. forward / neutral / reverse. The red ones are throttles / speed

She swings a lot faster if I steer while driving forward on one and the back of the other engine, I've always done so and do not think so much about it. I agree with bowthruster, I use it very little. In this movie it blows 7m / sec (1 3 knots) towards the bridge. I want the boat to turn quickly when I leave the bridge. When I get back, I do everything to brake the boat so I do not hit the bridge so hard.

Ive got the same boat exactly and when I use the wheel very easy to get mixed up, I understand your troubles there. nothing like using the shift when you want the throttle, single lever controllers would be much easier . nice video.

radioguy1620 his control set up is my preferred set up. But steering input is not needed especially with a thruster! Imo
