lol I actually really like Tilda Swinton as the ancient one. Her vibe is so uncommon and androgynous that it's like she is beyond a human being. Which is what i would expect from a 500 yr old sorcerer supreme. The old ancient wise man with a giant beard is actually quite trite and cliched in comparison. Why would a super powerful being be old and slow moving and choose to deal with the friction of hair that slows down his/her movement when fighting anyway lol.

He's a wise old Tibetan man. Well, see, therein lies the problem - certain people would very highly object to that, and it ain't whiny college students but people with nukes this time.

Dr. Strange didn't get stabbed in the heart. His pericardial sac (the membrane containing the heart) was punctured which filled with blood. The blood squeezed the heart until it stopped beating. Since that lady drained it right away, he didn't die. It is not fatal stab wound because the heart was never damaged. But if we are talking about stuff to make fun of AEDs (the defibrillator) are never used to restart a stopped heart, which they did at least 2 times.

@1:09 In Strange's defense, the person talking to Strange is a lay-person, so he might be thinking that the person was just putting advanced technology in a familiar context. So when Strange goes and they tell him about what he's always known as pseudo-scientific nonsense he might be just thinking that they're literally taking the piss just to insult him.

No, I know doctors. The saving lives thing you're going for makes sense, but it doesn't mean they are good people just because they're doing their job. I respect that it is a knowledge base that is very difficult and expensive to acquire and maintain but it doesn't come along with being a good person who is in it to save lives for all of them. And in the movie Strange is shown turning down surgeries because they had a fair chance of failure and would mess up his stats. So he was only saving the lives of people to make himself look good not because he cared. He had the time to try and save those other people too but chose not to.
