Men Writing Women seems to be at least 90% weird descriptions of breasts. Often, there seems to be a very brief description of the rest of the character's body or personality, followed by several sentences describing her breasts in the strangest way possible...

Re the Having most of my eggs line: I'm pretty sure she's just trying to say that she's still very young. Rather than being middle aged when at that school, she's likely there as early as possible, so saying most of the eggs are still present just indicates she either hasn't had a great many menstruations OR she's been pregnant a LOT and stopped the period that way. Either way, ew.

I think “unforgiving breasts” actually kinda works. Unforgiving by definition can also mean harsh conditions. For example, the unforgiving wind blew their house down. What I pictured when I read the text was a woman with breasts so huge that she seriously needed a breast reduction because her breasts were unforgiving in the sense of causing her to experience the harsh condition of chronic back pain.
@anitaholmes8201Ай бұрын
The writer with most of her eggs wrote this in an opinion piece in which she advocated for young women marrying rich older men. That way, a lot of time is saved in not having to DIY one's way to becoming established in a profession and in life. She did, although her husband is only 10 years older than she is. YMMV, obviously. Social media has not smiled upon this author.

If you want a little payback on the men-watching-women-sleep thing, watch Babylon 5. The Minbari have a tradition where a women who is interested in a man will watch him sleep for three nights, so she can see his "true self" and know whether she really wants to continue deepening the relationship. That, frankly, always felt wholesome to me... unlike men just randomly watching women sleep without any apparent reason.

Regarding the mention of the “vaccination marks”, there are some vaccine variants that will leave a scar due to the immune reaction, or at least used to in their earlier construction. The most common vaccine with this effect I know of off the top of my head is smallpox. As for the comparison to nipple sizes….that is a severely variable size range is all I can say lolol
@HanShaw-hc2kcАй бұрын
My TB vaccination scar is about 5mm across, which isn't ridiculously small for nipples, it's just a bizarre choice of comparison. Assuming he means literally just the nipples and the areola are bigger. 5mm areola would be tiny

I'm still waiting on the book without any physical descriptors for women. Or limited to two traits max, and none of them can be a sexualised body part, or use food in the description. Neutral descriptions only. Male characters get that practically always. I've read a great fanfic in which the main character had a great many traits and habits, she was smart, compassionate, determined, willing to confront literal god for abusing angels, a Buddhist, inching into alcoholism and then pulling back in time, unable to care for plants, a good therapist, brave, kind, and I have no idea what she looked like, because she was never described in any way. She was the point of view character, and never once did she get naked to glance in a mirror to describe how perky her breasts were, or how long her legs, or how wide her hips. She thought about a lot of things, including how she looked, but she described things that were relevant, like how unkempt she looked during a stressful time, not how sexy she was.

I think I have the missing puzzle piece that makes “nipples as tiny as vacation marks” make sense. I like ruthless breasts. So much more proactive than unforgiving breasts. Vaccination marks - back in my childhood our smallpox vaccines was not one needle, it was a disk with a lot of pokie things that left a scar about the size of an adult finger print. Most people got them on the arm, but my mother insisted that mine be on my back so as not to ruin some form of beauty I may become in the far far future. We were like age 3 or 4 when we got them. Not an ugly scar, but definitely nothing like a nipple. This was absolute lunacy. Yep bad women's anatomy. If you want to get historic about sleeping women, you only need to look at old painting. Women sleeping naked in the woods was a big deal. So was 3 women wide awake and hanging out in the woods with their arms around each other. Not selfies, not snapshots, paintings. So they took a while to make. Me standing naked in the woods is because a spider crawled under my clothes or I need a really thorough coating of insect repellent.
