Doctor Who Terminated Hundreds of Pregnancies Totally Transformed After Pastor's Convicting Sermon

Dr. Vansen Wong worked for decades as an OB-GYN who, in addition to delivering babies, also performed hundreds of first-trimester abortions early on in his career. But Wong eventually went through a spiritual transformation leading him to faith and also pro-life activism, including opposition to California's Proposition 1, which would add abortion rights to the state's constitution.
Speaking of his past work as an abortion doctor, Wong told CBN's Faithwire it was primarily a financial decision, as he performed abortions at evening clinics in Sacramento. "I viewed it as providing a service," he said. "I said to myself, 'Well, abortion's legal in this country, by law, our healthcare company has to provide abortion services and it's gotta be somebody in our specialty. And if I don't help out in this cause, then it's just going to fall on a couple of people.'" Wong said he simply believed he was providing a service to women and felt he would be compassionate in how he delivered that care. But after finding Jesus, he said he discovered how horrific abortion truly is - and now he's speaking out.

My ex husband’s girlfriends 15 year old daughter was pregnant and going to have an abortion. I spoke with her and said I would take care of the baby and help her until she was ready to become a mother. My daughters 20&21 said they would help raise him too. Her mother was against it and wanted her to have an abortion. I gave her an option. She ended up having her baby boy and fell in love with him! Everyone loves that baby boy including her mother. ❤

There doesn’t seem to be any judgment on your part but I have to say that it’s SCARY as ever getting pregnant at 15. Like horrifying! So I get where they’re coming from. Before I came to Christ I didn’t like abortion but I thought you have to do the best you can. I was a teenage mom and no one had all this interest in helping me take care of the baby. Only judgement. I’m assuming the 15 year old was able to hear you because you were compassionate and not judgmental. In fact, I thank God you stopped the abortion.

My parents chose to put my baby up for adoption when I was 16. When my baby boy was 50, he found me and introduced me to his lovely wife and his 10 beautiful children with several grandchildren that are now my great grandchildren. And my mother, the matriarch, got to meet him. She shocked me by saying, “I’ve been praying for this day all my life!” 😮😢😊

@@jjjj-uh3mu on line bible is not the same thing like the real Bible (KJV 1960). The Bible was written with the help of and guidance of the Holy Spirit. My family had an experience - not told but lived it. The house we were living, caught fire. The only thing that didn't get burned was the Bible and the night stand did get partially burned where the Bible was on. Once you have experiences it's better NOT to modernize. God has not changed. I once as a 17 yr old who had gotten pregnant. I was so scared. I'm 46 yrs old now but I remember the Lord telling me not to talk to the Counselor who wanted to talk to me after my stating I was keeping my baby. I decided not to talk to the Counselor because of the strong conviction the Lord put in my heart. I had before that thought about abortion but the thought that I would be tortured forever with what I would have done kept going through my mind. I now have 4 grandchildren and one still in the Womb. Think of how many generations I would have wiped out. If you have done it just run to God child, he's waiting with open arms and he'll forgive you and heal you. He really is that Good!!!

Hang on... I had cervical cancer while I was pregnant with my first. They found it right before I found out I was pregnant and they were going to do treatment but couldn't because I was pregnant. They ended up just watching it, I had to go to the oncologist every month. At month 8 it had disappeared. They did a colpoacopy(sp?) Which they also shouldn't do while pregnant, but they didn't think there was a big risk at that point I guess, and the cancer had completely cleared up. My daughter is 6 now and it hasn't returned as far as I know. The stem cells from being pregnant can heal you. So I think its odd that they wouldn't tell pregnant women with cervical cancer that there's a possibility that the baby can heal her! Its amazing how the body works!

So illuminating and such confirmation. I fell pregnant at 15 and abortion wasn't available in our country. This meant I had to have my baby and, at the direction of my parents, I had her adopted. She's now a mother of two boys, in her mid forties, and a strong follower of Christ. If abortion had been on the table, my parents and I would have gone that route in a second. Whilst the whole episode was deeply traumatic for me, having met Christ, I now thank our Abba for never allowing me to kill her.

Beautiful testimony! Women are bombarded with lies about their current situation, not having enough money, being a single mother, still in high school, ; therefore think that the baby would not survive once born...but never underestimate the love of a mother to a child, she would fight off a lion with her bare hands if she had to.....and once she puts God first...she will always find a way to raise her child!
@deborahh2556
@deborahh2556 Жыл бұрын
So true. It's sad that more women do not depend on God and faith, but only rely on their own strength and abilities. Yes, women are strong, but there is always a limit. I cannot tell you what a difference my faith in God made in raising my children. I prayed and I believed. I was a stay-at-home Mom, raising 3 children. My husband worked but we were so poor. God provided every meal. My children never went hungry. When I had twins in my 2nd pregnancy, I trusted God to provide when I had no money to buy what they needed. A woman I had only met once, showed up at my door unexpectedly with a moving truck. She was on her way to another state and wondered if I wanted her baby clothes and furniture. I said yes, and she proceeded to deliver high chairs, walkers, clothes (many still had the tags on them) shoes, toys, blankets. When she was through, my living room was full of baby goods. It looked like Christmas, only better. She had twin daughters and was leaving me with all the things they had outgrown. The clothes looked expensive. Things I could not have afforded. It was the best God-planned baby shower ever. I can tell many more stories. People gave me boxes of diapers for gifts. I had closets full for their first year of life. I'm telling you; Jesus makes all the difference. You don't have to go it alone. Speak life through God's Words; the Holy Bible. Grow your faith. Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken, or their seed begging bread.

Abortion is the murder of an unborn baby, and it doesn't matter to me whether it's the mother's first, second, or third trimester! I'm sooo glad this Dr. Wong is a saved person now, and Jesus has given him forgiveness for this heinous crimes, as well as other sins he----including the rest of saved humanity----have committed! The mother is saying it's her right because it's HER body, but that is untrue---it is the BODY AND SOUL of the baby being slain!
@vanesagvl9095
@vanesagvl9095 Жыл бұрын
Exactly. A baby cannot be born without the body of a woman. This woman is therefore a vessel bringing a new soul into the world. So it is her choice, yes - to kill another innocent person - a person who happens to need her body as a vessel to come into the world! Just like any murderer makes a choice to kill another human being, so are doing the abortionists (women and doctors).

Years ago, my mother, who was still in nurse's training, had a patient who happened to be an arrogant doctor who constantly bragged about doing numerous illegal abortions. He asked my mother why he was placed near the nursery with those screaming babies. She said, you aren't anywhere near the nursery. He asked, don't you hear those babies crying? She said she didn't. She said, Perhaps those are the cries of all the babies you aborted. Later that night, he was about out of his mind with the babies crying. He said he was going mad. She said well maybe you need to repent from having killed all those babies. He said he could never be forgiven. She told him he very much could be if he truly repented. So my mother called her parish priest to come to talk to him. Later that night, he asked for God's forgiveness and for the first time since he was admitted, there was no crying. He later thanked my mother for caring enough to boldly tell him he was wrong (as in those days doctors could make big trouble for the nurses, probably still can and do). He also thanked her for calling the parish priest. She told him she was happy he was forgiven. He was a changed man. A few months later, he got seriously ill and before he passed, he again thanked my mother for caring and helping him repent. Soon afterward, my mother got encephalitis from a little boy. No one else would care for him as it was a serious disease and there was no treatment (this was before antibiotics). After being in a coma for three weeks, she eventually recovered but not without serious problems. She was told she couldn't have children as a result. Well, God bless her, she did a St.Gerard novena, patron saint for expectant mothers. She made a promise to have as many children as God would give her. Well 11 sons, 3 daughters and countless grandchildren later, she and Dad counted us all blessings from God. I am convinced that if there are jobs in Heaven, my parents are caring for the babies and children who passed much too soon.

Nurses continually make huge trouble for doctors, right from when I was a medical student we were told never ever talk back to a nurse or question her because they will ruin your career. Way later on down the generational line either in his grandkids or great grandkids that medical procedure done by grandpa could get on his generation future families...He hopely has severed that confusing spirit tie ..and to make sure it doesnt live on in that family generation because of financial choices. If you are a doctor I don't think you would be Teeter totting on the edge of the poverty level just to provide basic needs for the family, and have a choice not to do such procedures. He also stated he was missing compassion and now changed his mind. He didn't understand.. thank goodness we have Christ's teachings..

I was 15 when I became a mother. I lived independently and I have no regrets about keeping my child. I now have 5 BEAUTIFUL grandchildren as a result. They are the light of my world (and so is my child). I worked hard. I got my GED so I could work and save money… and attend college. I earned my degree. My children both have degrees and are amazing ppl. Not only did I become a mother at 15 and make it work & do a great job raising little humans into amazing adults, I did it by myself. Their dad died when they were young. A mothers love FINDS a way. My kids NEVER went without anything. They sure never went a moment without KNOWING they were LOVED and VALUED. I was born to parents who were “old enough” and I knew every single day that I was not wanted, loved or valued. To this very day, my parents make SURE all 10 of their children know we mean nothing to them… especially now that we are no longer tax write offs. Age doesn’t matter … a good parent doesn’t come via how old someone is, but how mature they are. How willing they are to put self after others.
@thecrew777
@thecrew777 Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure about the maturity part. I wasn't mature at ALL when I got pregnant with my son at just barely 20 years old, not a full year from having left home. But pregnancy and the taking on of the responsibility for a little human's life has a way of growing you up quick. It did me. I know the hard road of being a single mom. I still would have stood off a raging bear for my child. It changes you to become a parent. The best change next to salvation, I would say.

I worked for Bay area OB's for many yrs and in home birth and out of hospital birth centers as a midwife. The only time I heard of the so called 'therapeutic abortion' was by the genetic counselor's and it would make me angry and tug deep at my soul that this was the norm. As a believer I found many opportunities to pray with these women who were convinced by medical professionals to have an abortion. Thank God the Lord called all the stops and he found the love of our heavenly father.

Dr Wong became the medical director for a pro life Pregnancy center in Sacramento. Which allowed the center to provide free ultrasounds to women considering abortion. He knows the terms , and he knows these are babies. Fetal tissue, and pregnancy tissue are terms used in the medical field, and he is a doctor, so medical language is natural to him. But he devoted years to educating women that these are Babies whose lives were at stake , via ultrasound.

I have spoken to many post abortive women over the years, who suffer (sometimes for decades) with grief, anger, unforgiveness, bitterness, addictions, eating disorders, depression and suicidal thoughts. Abortion is the painful killing of an innocent child. The suffering that follows the women (and men too) is horrible. Only the blood of Jesus can wash the sin away. Help is available.

I witnessed late term abortions during my OB rotation. The first one I saw was on a woman who was 7.5 months pregnant. She was having her 4th late term saline induced abortion. I warched the baby kick for 6 hours inside the womb until it finally died. I felt such a deep sorrow and sadness. When the baby boy was delivered the skin was red from being scalding by the saline. The torture this baby indured was unimaginable. He was tossed to the side like garbage. I was traumatized by what I saw. There have been 60 million abortions since Roe Vs Wade. I applaud the brave Supreme Judges who attempted to curtail abortions.

Thank you for this. Mothers always make it work because God literally provides for us. Some women I know who have had abortions keep track of the baby's 'expected birth date' and remember it every year, thinking if the child was that age, what would he/she be doing? To kill a baby is to kill purpose. Some who have abortions can't conceive anymore children. Lastly, the children who are killed in abortion are in heaven waiting to their mommies. Be wise! Think it through, but don't over think it. If you are reading this and have done an abortion, Jesus says He will forgive you of your sins once you repent (admit it to Him) and tell Him you're sorry. He will give you the peace that you are looking for. Blessings!

My 1st son was born at 28 weeks at 1 lb 14 oz. I had preeclampsia. At no time in 1987 did a doctor say "we have to abort". I had to get a 2 shot series timed within 24 hrs to help develop his lungs. 1 hr after the time was needed for the 2nd shot to have been completed for him, my body started telling me something was wrong at 2 a.m. The doctor on duty wouldn't listen as she spoke broken English and the nurses told me that she had an equivalency to being a dentist in her country of origin. I called my mother. She came and this Christian woman went off. A new physician was brought in and as I had felt, I was correct and they rushed me into an emergency C-section. My son had a broviac put thru his skull and IV's and tubes and when I tell you it's a lie that babies can't feel pain... Please Believe Me. At 24 weeks gestation, my son felt PAIN. He had fingernails and Eye lashes. While pregnant, I'd sing him the same lullaby. When I woke from anesthesia, I was wheeled to NICU. I couldn't touch him in the incubator but I could talk thru the gloves inserts. The neo nurse told me in the 72 hrs (while I was unconscious), that my son hadn't opened his eyes at all. I started singing that same lullaby and my son recognized me and opened his eyes for the 1st time. He knew me. At 24 weeks gestation... He knew his mother. That's what is tell any female who would think of killing her baby. My baby didn't suddenly know me... His brain stem was one of the 1st things that formed. Your brain tells your body pain and emotions. My 24 week baby knew both as he was growing. He's 36 today. 190 lbs and I thank God every day that He gave me my loving son.

I have five children age 18, 14,12,5 and 3 well with my 5 years old daughter, my husband told me several times he don't want me he is moving on with his life he hardly supposed the home it was really sick during my pregnancy he even went so far to say do what you want with the pregnancy. I trust in God he make a way for me and children and he did it was not easy but we made it through. then he came home said he is sorry he want his family and I got pregnant again well this pregnancy I went through hell this was worse then previous one I was really sick no food to eat hardly enough money to pay my bill ,on top I had a baby and I'm pregnant. many times the taught enter my mind just do an abortion you will feel well then you can care your toddler. One day I started to cry and I said God you came through for me with my toddler and God you said in your word you shall provide for me it was a struggle for me and here I am today I have been through some tuff time emotionally and financially. when I look at my 5 and 3 years children I thank God I did not do an abortion with my last son . I love all my children but my two small one capture my heart because of what I went through with them. I know what is is to don't have to feed my children and even to clothe them .today all my children are doing well in school I make sure we out to church we pray together in out home my 18 year is in university of Guyana persuing her studies.. What a great podcast. I have one child who became pregnant out of wedlock at age 24. She had her BA, wanted her free and carefree life, and still chose to keep this baby. This baby was in full-time daycare by age 2, had lots of bumps with settling down, focusing, holding up grades. We all celebrated the miracle of her actually getting a high school diploma. Today, age 23, she is our joy, married, completing her BA, working My other child adopted two babies right from the hospital. The second was born at 6 month gestation when birth mom slipped on the bathroom floor. Today this child is age 6, bright, introspective, a thinker, sweet, a competitor. So my story is about no abortion and successful early gestation births This pro life stand must never be relinquished.

So basically its safer to give birth than have a procedure to abort the baby. Particularly after 22 weeks.

Thank you Dr Wong.I have only heard a few obgyn doctors talk about inducing labor vs doing an abortion to save a pregnant womans life. Wish more would speak up like you on that issue. The look of peace and happiess on your face is wonderful. You are a testimony of God's grace!

How many of you here are old enough before Abortion was legalized? I am just curious and so you know I am in that age group and I do remember all the horror stories being spoken of in order to get it past. Absolutely no judgement here. I haven’t seen any statements posted that is speaking of the Time Before it was legalized. Thanks for your Responce in advance. Much love to you all💖 And I want to Thank Dr Wong for his willingness to come on and speak his truth🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💖💖💖

Yes, I'm from that era, before abortions were legal, and before they could be done by taking a pill. (They were illegal in all states except for CA.) A friend's sister wanted one, so she found an illegal abortionist to do it. She was picked up (after being blindfolded) and driven to the doctor's "office." She was allowed to bring only one person with her. When she got there, blindfold was removed and she saw how extremely filthy the premises were. Frightened, she chickened out and she and her friend almost ran out of that place. She ultimately had her baby, and raised it herself with the help of her relatives.

Society is judged, ultimately, on how it treats the very old and the very young.....we're in big trouble in this country if we are even considering murdering a baby (life is at conception), and how many of our geriatric population dies in poverty; alone and neglected? God help us! 🙏

God bless you for your very detailed and enlightening testimony 🙏 (Unfortunately too many people have no "heart", are so cold they have no problem seeing death come to others even before it's time.)

What is crazy is these same women when they have miscarriages, the baby is a precious life, but when these same women have abortions, the baby's life is no longer important?

thank you for hosting this man who shared his testimony. I disagree with the host interrupting this man. He lost his trend of thought and never returned back to that point about ten commandments. I wanted to hear that part but he was interrupted. GOD bless the LORD and his kind mercy upon his people.
