Have you tried the kizer begleiter titanium? I realize these are worlds apart but there are some similarities. I was looking at the drop point in particular. I like the look of the Tonto better. I just think the drop point would be easier to maintain. I'm also not sure about combo blades.

this scale is lovely but i tried an early version and it was apparently not well put together and really did not reflect the cost and not a good impression from reate ,

I love the "K" series the K2 included, while I have the K2 modified by JD Cutlery I could stand to own another and this fat carbon fiber really moves me. I do own the Kirby Lambert Raine in this same blue fat carbon and on camera doesn't do it justice. For the $445 price tag I think this knife deserves the fat carbon fiber on both sides as the Reate Kirby Lambert Raine does and it sold for $287, come on now, if your going to put a $445 price tag on a knife don't cheap out. This is a reall deal breaker for me and I think Reate may need to consider coming down off their cloud. They did the same thing on the "IRON" so maybe this is becoming a trend but you count me out.

I also own the Raine and the K2. The Raine cost $299 if you didn’t preorder - A difference of $145 when compared to the K2. So what do you get for $145? Hand Rubbed M390 blade Zirconium Backspacer Zirconium Pocket Clip Look around the internet for pricing on zirconium. Then read up on how difficult it is to machine and how easily it catches fire. You are paying for the material and the labor hours to machine it. The price is well justified.

@@chrisjaskulski8613 again, the warrior and the K2 are based on a very traditional Japanese Kwaiken profile. There is no copycat stuff happening here.
