Also it's funny how much dust shows up.on the black finish. I couldn't see that with my eyes...the camera is too good!

Just saw your new Fisher Knife Doc and must admit it is an absolute Beauty. However I was very dismayed initially to hear that you had sold your full collection. I'm in the UK and have only been into Knives for a Couple of Years however your Fabulous pieces were amongst the absolute first that just grabbed my attention up front and centre. They were absolutely Fabulous, some of them like something from a different Continuum entirely and I know had I ever been fortunate enough to have had any of your previous top end grail or moded Knives in my collection I just could never ever have let them go, particularly considering the emotional journey involved to lay my hands on them in the first place. I've over the last couple of years now managed to achieve a fair few top end knives, all pretty much in their original dress and even these I would struggle to let go or pass on regardless of the Financial Renumeration involved. What is absolutely clear though is your wonderful sense of Knife Design and Style and what will work together as there quite literally is nothing else quite like your Customs and Mods anywhere, or certainly none that scream to me quite as loudly saying , " My Goodness what I would do to possess you" I wish I had your vision, but also I wish I had your cash to be able to pursue that Wonderful Vision. LOL Take Care. ALL the Best. MARK (Reaching out from the UK. )

That knife is an absolute stunner. Artistically speaking I have never seen a blade figured better. I own knives just to appreciate.

This is awesome, Dr. ...able to watch along as you build your new collection. Love that you're getting interested in smaller knives (but not too small). I didn't even realize until, you mentioned, all hidden hardware...wow! Well done and congrats.

The all matte aesthetic struck me. Always been tunnel vision for mirror polish but this knife broke my usual biases

Ok, so I saw the video profile, and immediately yelled out a few, very loud and concise curse words that made my 8 year old spit out milk!!! This is one Hell of a build. Hoooooolllllyyyy .... time for some popcorn. I’m going to enjoy this.

Such a beautiful blade!! I've been seeing it on IG. That pivot makes the knife... it looks amazing with the small collar for contrast. Great stuff brother!🍻

What an absolute beauty of a knife. I'm not all the way through the video, and I'm not too sure if you've answered this before, but do you EDC custom knives?
@DoctorFrunkey4 жыл бұрын
I have carried and used every knife I've owned. The fancy knives like this one mostly open letters and tape. There are better knives for those tasks.

@@DoctorFrunkey That's awesome. Someone has had to have seen you previously and been like "here comes that fancy knife guy again"

Honestly, that’s a cool looking knife with great materials. But the blade shape kind of kills it for me. But that’s just my personal taste. You own it and live it. That’s all that matters.
@DoctorFrunkey4 жыл бұрын
Thats a reasonable and polite response. It's definitely a "love it or leave it" design.

It has to have thumb studs to be the greatest knife in my opinion... i don't really like opening knives with a flipper tab
@82frankthetank4 жыл бұрын
Not to be pedantic but "heat/flame anodizing" is a misnomer. Anodizing explicitly involves electricity. The process is called anodizing because the part to be treated forms the anode electrode of an electrolytic cell. Heat coloring or heat oxidizing would be more appropriate.

It would be really cool to see that double recurve on cheaper knives, so you could actually feel good using it😂

Collectable, yes. Usable, no.
@DoctorFrunkey4 жыл бұрын
It is 100% functional, but yes, it will mostly be adored and lesser knives will be used in its place.

I absolutely hate that blade shape!! Double recurve... it’s a statement knife no way edc

As I mentioned in the video, this is not a hard use knife. This definitely is a showpiece.

If you don't carry your knives you are a poser, I understand it's expensive but if you are too worried about getting a scratch on your pretty knife then quit buying knife and get a tiara, princess! 😆😅🤣🤣😅😆😆🤣🤣😂
