Hey docs, yesterday I went back to my derma clinic after 2 years for a bit of Botox but my regular doctor left during the pandemic. The new doctor, super nice, took 3D pics of my face, blew them up on a massive HD screen and showed me all my flaws. He ended up recommending fillers: temples, cheeks, eyes, lips, PRP, laser, HIFU, Botox, and 2 more procedures that I can’t recall. While he was trying to sell me on this by showing me a 10X magnified 3D image of my flaws that are obviously there, i kept thinking im a confident woman and I will say no(he insisted several times) but this strategy will sure work for people with less confidence. I was able to say no because I have learnt so much from watching you two and I love how you educate us. I wish some of the industry practices would follow a more ethical not financial gain strategy. Thank you for the education!

An Aussie derm, Dr. Gavin Chan has a whole video on how he stopped doing dermal fillers because he noticed the filler was migrating south due to gravity & was shown on MRI to be in the face 7 years later. More & more derms are abandoning filler after this is becoming more widespread knowledge 🙀

Hi Mary, two ways of looking at this. Yes, you could embrace the aging process, IF that were to make you happy OR you can embrace the the Anti'Aging process, which sounds more in line with the way you're thinking. Neither way is wrong, but for me, why do I want to look old and haggered, when I can reduce that greatly with a few skin products and a bit of skin resurfacing laser work? I hope you can make piece with your desicion. :)

With due respect, the frownies work fantastically well. Those have been around for almost 100 years for a reason. However, I found the 'glue' and application problematic since it was not adhesive enough since I have very oily skin. So instead, I use painter's tape, double it to become a double layer, make a square and use it between the eye area for those frown lines, and it is truly amazing how smooth it is in the morning, and it lasts for quite awhile. With diligent use, my frown line wrinkle has lessened from what it was. Sounds silly I know, but honestly works quite well. Give it a try while you sleep and you'll see what I mean.

I know as a relative suffered these complications. She was told after the laser procedure, that the complications are common and he didn't know what to do about them and he didn't have a magic wand to wave over her. The only doctor who offered her help was a Belgium laser expert who informed her that her complications are indeed common and at his practice he doesn't use lasers for resurfacing, he uses an advanced chemical peel called the Tel Aviv advanced chemical peel. His advice was to take super strong vitamin B complex as it had shown to help with the complication of the stripes. Best wishes from Europe ❤

Good for you. Post back when you are 73, and the wrinkles are still natural but 4 times as many, & 3 times as noticeable.. We all look great in our 50s, especially if we have good features, and style.

I agree, I see crows feet on folks and have never thought twice other than I can deal with those! I think jowls & turkey neck are far worse!

You guys are really great, I’m learning so much about skin care, I’m 56 and only ever used moisturiser but now I’ve got a great skin care routine and I can see so many changes in my skin and so many compliments from my friends and family thx for all your great info.

As a person of a certain age, I'd love to hear your thoughts on threading. I'd like to have more information on something that is a more invasive procedure. Thank you in advance

Hey guys! Great video. I am curious to hear your take on accupuncture for minimizing the look of wrinkles. I was wondering if you'd be willing to do a video on that. On that note, keep up the good work :)

Good job guys! I especially liked that you told people they don't have to push drinking water to excess. So many people are running around with their water bottles drinking like crazy and wondering what is wrong with their urinary tract when they get up all night to urinate.
