I fractured my foot in two places a few years ago, and I sent my dad, who's a doctor, a photo asking for his opinion and if I should get an x-ray (I didn't immediately know it was broken), and his advice was: just walk it off. Luckily my mom, who's a nurse and who came and picked me up and took me to a clinic, because at this point I couldn't weight bare, took one look at it and said: you need x-rays, ignore your father, he's being stupid 😂

So I grew up with both parents being in the medical field... There were so many injuries that just got patched up at home because they both were like "Eh, you're fine" like when my brother cut his head open on the coffee table, or when he almost bit his tongue off, or when I sliced my foot open on a can, or most recently I fractured my finger in 2 places and didn't get an xray until 2 days later cause they didn't think it was "that serious" Love my parents dearly, but i definitely think a couple of the instances i listed were above their pay grade

except most women deodorant doesn't work nearly as well as men. I found this out the hard way. And that is for a pretty basic lifestyle with little activity. Let alone a highly active like what he leads. I actually had to start using mens a few months ago because the only womens deodorant that actually works, i developed a severe allergy toit after 14 or 15+ yrs of use. (1 application of that particular brand now causes immediate open skin legions.) And the only womens deodorants that don't break me out are the all natural ones, but they dont work and still cause itchiness and the hypoallergenic ones, which barely work for about 4 hours. Then I have to wash my armpits in my job's public restroom sink because if i dont wash it all off after 4 hours, whether or not i reapply it, i have a minor allergic reaction to. Then i have to choose with spending the rest of my wprk day (which involves handling food) either not wearing any deodorant and betting on my sweat not being particularly pungent smelling or constantly telling myself not to scratch my armpits due to a developing rash. But for some reason, what ever causes my reaction isn't present in old spice, or at least it is a very negligible amount. Sometimes i may get a minor itch, but that is occasional and due to my eczema (the reason why i started to get an allergic reaction,) about the layer of dirt filled sweat building up on it. That just means when I shower that night to use an exfoliating face scrub on my pits and to exfoliate that layer of dead skin. But it sin't the deodorant itself causing it. and also, the womens ones that i tried that didn't causes as bad as a reaction as that brand, doesn't work all that well. It was the reason I chose that brand as a teen. My sweat doesn't smell strong but it takes a good deodorant to keep me from getting too sweaty and from smelling at all. T:L;DR womens deoderant isn't great and doesn;t work as well as mens. Especially if you live an active lifestyle as most barely work for a mostly sedentary one.
