Amazing but still complicated on this car omg 😱 but why head gasket is it overheated before or these engines are prone to head gasket issue?
@shbt88756 жыл бұрын
Wow that’s a lot of taking parts apart just to change that but great job you guys

You did not mention what the torque is for the valve cover bolts.

On timeline at 8:48 that's what you should have done instead of taking the windshield wiper motor out. All you had to do was take that bar out on timeline 8:48. The windshield wiper motor was not in the way. Never mind. Towards the end of the video you mentioned we didn't have to take it out. Sorry about that! One heck of a video bro. Kudos

As mentioned on another video it's easiest to remove the one bolt holding the transmission dipstick tube. It's accessed from underneath the car. Remove the bolt and wiggle the trans dipstick tube up, then push it down and out of the way.

You do not need to remove the cowell, especially if you don’t have the transmission dip stick tube.

just tried this tonight on my dodge magnum. when i started the engine, it began to sputter and leak more oil from the valve covers and my engine is idling at extremely high RPM

The first 75% of this video is useless. You do not have to remove the windshield wipers.

I searched this video to learn how to take it off, now I'm wondering where to spray penatrating oil to maybe help unseize my engine

DISREGARD Watch at 10:28 this why is so expensive when you go to a shop. They charge extra for labor cause they do too much unnecessary labor. DO NOT REMOVE THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS WASTE OF TIME. START AT THE AIR INTAKE.

Don’t impact them down the valve cover gasket Jesus they only need 8-9 ft LB of torque

That’s a whole lot of bs to get to the point of the video. Not to mention you didn’t even show how to to change out the spark plug tube seals. Way to go.

Just the fact that your guy used power tools to not only take it apart but then put it back together is just dumb.... no wonder why he stripped that bolt and you cut the camera 😂 if you follow this video please use hand tools and proper torque
