Hey, trying to figure out an issue on my buddy’s car. Right at 4:54 there’s a metal pipe with a blue o-ring on it. Any idea what the name of it is? Gotta replace it and I can’t find the name for it anywhere

As much work as it was to take those valve covers off, why didn't you change the 3 seals in the valve cover?

I hear ya I definitely recommend it. It’s all sealed now and no issues 💯💯🤝

In the video at 8:20 those 3 center rings actually are Not gaskets. Trust me I went crazy trying to figure it out. They’re just hard plastic and it’s permanent stuck to the valve cover lid. Every single kit that I see online for the valve covers it also comes with the three rings. However, there’s nowhere for the rings to go those plastic “look alike rings” literally do not pop out. I assume on dodge caravans and other motors they probably take the 3 O rings. But on my 07 charger 3.5 v6. I spent days trying to figure out why

@@qxweiii I see. I didn't know that. My 2010 3.5 Challenger takes them. I just changed them last month. Edit, After going back to 8:20 and looking at yours, yours come out also.

@@qxweiii I thought the same with my '07 Magnum 3.5L but the rubber was so old and worn it was super hard and seemed like plastic. They do eventually come out with some work and you can replace with the new rubber gaskets that come with the kits.
