Dodge Grand Caravan Rear Wiper Arm Removal and Repair

1999 Dodge Grand Caravan. The rear wiper could be turned on but would not touch the window to wipe it. This is how I fixed it for free. You might also consider spraying some better lubricant in there after the using the WD40 to loosen it up.

2012 model you have to pry off the plastic cover that covers the pivot point. There's a regular hex nut underneath; remove that and you can pull the arm off. I was having the same problem-thought my spring was broken or come off.... but just needed to spray the pivot that had gotten bound up. I used PB Blaster. That didn't work right away, I needed to bend it back a forth a few dozen times for it to really loosen up. Thanks for the video.

Just replaced the wife's rear wiperblade, but I think this is what the problem is, there was not much tension between the blade and the window. I will have to try this, this weekend.
