I did this and I used a gates grooved pully p# 38016 and a continental belt p# 4071005 and I used the notch from the factory that is at about 1 o'clock and just used a reame and it worked great

Where did you find the coil packs and wires? I heard you say DML? In one video but can't find a 6 plug coil only a 4 plug. I may not be looking in the right spot 9r the right page...

Factory 8 lug 16 inch wheels and 37x15 Toyo Mts. 5 inch lift, longer control arms, 2 inch spacers, and a few other mods to compensate the height and tire size.

I hope you able to get the correct tension on the belt. If not it'll have a hard time turning all of your pulleys like water pump, power steering, alternator and AC.

Local shop said my smog pump has gone bad. Any way I can leave the old pump in and use the factory belt?

If the bearing is good on the pulley you can take it apart and gut the carbon fiber fins out of it. It's alot of work but I've seen it done.

I used mine as a pro charger just run the line to the intake and put a party pulley on it for more air

@@jerryperez8679 Introduces unfiltered air and the carbon fiber internal pump fins can fall apart for no reason sending shrapnel into the intake. Also it's an 8 liter engine. It'll never push enough air to even make 1psi of boost. But as always, to each their own.

Wierd, my 2000 2500 v10 doesn’t have a smog pump or any type of EGR system, there’s not even any pipes coming off the catalytic converter back to the engine, and I’m in California, and the truck originally came from California

If you have a V-10, the EGR assembly is below the ram plenum, passenger side of engine. You have to remove the plenum to get to the valve cover bolts, the passenger side injectors and the EGR. Ask me how I know........

EGRs were only on the 94 and 95 trucks. The California emissions trucks did NOT have smog pumps.
