What happens, F-1 visa application under administrative processing for a year now and all required documents submitted the same day and now the same Applicant has a fully funded PhD scholarship? Does he cancel the first application and reapply for student visa for the fully funded scholarship? Is the same program whose application is under 221g.

got my student visa yesterday. funny thing is I prepared a lot according to ur advice but the visa officer didn't ask that much. my question is does your eng accent affect ur interview cuz I learnt eng from sitcoms (my accent is kinda too american that my classmates start to make fun of me)? Hello. I am 38 female born in Romania with german passport and living and working for over 10 years in Switzerland. I work in a hotel, F&B department. I ve got a working contract for 18 months, trainee program, in Florida. I am waiting for the documents so I can apply for a J 1 Visa at the US embassy in Switzerland. I am a little bit concerned about the interview and get the visa. I do not have strong ties to my country Romania not even to Germany where my parents are living. I do feel more at home in Switzerland but how to prove that. I am thinking to open a business/ hotel, after coming back from my trainee program in US, having the necesary knowledge. The trainee is in room division department, divided in 3 phases. I am divorced no kids and no relationship. How can I prove that I am coming back to Switzerland or what should I take care, be prepared for the interview? I want to have an exchange year in US since I was in school but my parents didnt allowed me and couldnt affoared it. After I got merried very early with 20 and my husband didnt allowed it. So now that I am divorced I want to havd this experience. Thank you for your help and any kind of advise. Can I apply this month for green card lottery before having my j 1 visa interview? Or is taking part to this lottery before getting the visa a reason nit to get the J 1 Visa?

I guess, Decision is pre-made for sure, bcoz Visa consular said to me that your visa was refused once before in 4 yrs ago, i wasn't aware to mention that in the DS 160, how could she come to know that, i have Good Travel history now, and i live in internal country , applying from here, . she was checking in Computer for 1 minute to 2 minute than said sorry we cant approve this time, ,

This visa interview decision is not made before, but prior refusals can have a very large image on your case. In addition, Visa Officers can see all of your prior visa history and if they feel you are trying to trick them about your situation or visa history, this will lead to a refusal.

Respect, ex.visa officer. I want to make a mock interview with you. But as an Indian $450 change amount i very high & you are providing the interview for 30min. As a average Indian we have to spend 1month's income of my parents,to provide this amount. I mean to say if you had discount/decrease the amount for Indian students, then most of the students will use your facility which you are providing.. Thank you, As a Indian students voice. but what is the info you are reading/watching cost? nothing?! absorb what is free. how is that unfair? the reality is the people that pay help subsidize your free info. they aren't getting 8 hours a day in interviews. if you are trying to get an F student visa this is first great business lesson for you. in many cases, i suspect some of these personal interviews that cost money just regurgitate the same info with a slight twist. honestly, the content they put out is first class
