Nah, exercise is 5% of the fat loss equation, it's much more worth your time and sanity to instead eliminate all carbs and all sugars from your diet. You insulin will drop, your body will then start to use the fat on your body as fuel, bish bash bosh, weight loss.

@@kkroy3025 Yes, I do. Unfortunately just lost my health insurance. It's easier to maintain a good A1C with a cgm. Whereas, finger sticks are done not so much and sugars can swing high or low due to various reasons. Sickness, hormonal changes, and not enough sleep which affects my sugars tremendously. I'm going to miss being able to catch those climbing highs that can happen So I'm going back to finger sticks, low carb and keep moving.

I am 28 and diagnosed with T1 diabetes 2 months ago and I lost 12kg weight in just 6 to 8 weeks. When i started taking insulin my weight started gaining again. Like i gained 5kg weight in a month. But because of that I was always got low sugar. Now i have reduced my insulin but my weight gaining process is stopped. And I am underweight right now. Should I increase the insulin dosage to gain weight?

You should talk to your doctor. Get a Dexcom and get a tandem insulin pump.

T2 since 2005, even though controlled by diet, recently my blood sugars have started climbing and so dr. started me on very low dose. Still learning how to balance it all.

Max dosage of metformin is 2000mg/day or else you can create kidney renal failure and other very serious complications. Please don't overdose on metformin, thinking that it will help you "faster" or anything. Please tell your doctor and get your kidneys checked ASAP.

Thank you for the question. When you’re a teenager it is harder to gain weight. Do you need a lot of calories and of course more insulin. If you are really under weight you should not have carbohydrates or Cal restriction. Of course you need to go to nothing Endocrinologist who can manage your diabetes while you are eating a lot of carbs.
