With meth you can increase timing and boost more so than with just normal pump gas. My car goes from about 380whp to about 420 with wmi and still running colder air intake temps

You absolutely answered my question. No real power difference when running a full flex e85 tune. I ran 93 and water-meth and went from 430hp to 546. Now I'm upgrading with forged internals, bigger turbo, and flex E. I will now sell my Snow Performance.

What everyone is forgetting is that those lower temps mean you can run much more aggressive timing which WILL increase power

What was the AFR for both runs? If you didn’t pull out any fuel with a 500cc meth nozzle then you would be running crazy rich.

I had this question also. I’ve never seen a car increase power with meth unless the AFR was accounted for.

@@RacersRUS69 not at all Look at the dyno readings. It drops off at the top end. 7k is placebo and people just feel it's going faster when it's not.

This is Rad. I just bought a 22 Tiguan 4motion and I’m trying to figure out how to get some good power like I had with my 2013 CC with Unitronic stage 1+ tune with DSG stage 1. So far with your videos it looks like a DV and down pipe with an ecu tune would be my best bet. I just can’t find any stage 2 tunes for my year Tiguan.. do you guys offer a stage 2 for my tiggy?

Would it be the same outcome on the audi supercharged 3.0t platform? Considering guys spray into the blower which in theory would cool down the boost air?

@boostdynamictuning yes very true. I'd think the meth sprayed into the bricks would overall cool tia's down which theoretically would benefit performance overall, but would it be noticeable considering the already cold combustion temperatures due to the E85.

I'm a full race at the track kind of guy. But wondering if y'all have comparison numbers between meth plus E85, and meth plus pump gas. E85 is hard to get in my area and 4 hour round trip to make just to get it. Switched from E85, to 93 octane plus meth. But makes me wonder what the numbers would be going to E85 plus meth and benefit from the cooler iat's and maybe increase boost/timing even more. Assuming y'all didn't make these changes that is where the benefits of meth would make the difference??? If you're not making the tuning changes to benefit the use of meth, is this test valid for the guys that really push it to the limit compared to the average guy that wouldn't mess with those parameters??? Thanks for the video though either way.

When on e85 you're already max mbt. So when you install meth you can't advance timing as again... maximum best timing. So on e85 no reason to run meth unless you need to cool the engine. If you look through my videos on I have a meth video on 93 octane.

you have to re tune with meth otherwise its a waste you can run more boost and timing. Without tuning it will loose power as it will run rich

Called it 👌 I have the previous gen of the 2.0t engine for my A5 and everything I read about running meth with e85 didn't seem worth the hassle Love to see the MQB doing great. The stage 2 with e85 figures is close to my K04 + fbo custom flex fuel tune lol Hurts to see but excited to see how the platform develops overtime
