I think "Paper" was originally rolled up sticks of "Dynamite", and was changed because of the lude way you have to insert the dynomite into the rock. Scissors beat dynomite, by cutting the fuse.

You could take reinforced paper (still species and genus paper), like 135g glossy or similar that contains stabilizers. One sheet, with enough RPM should cut soft stone.
