@Jonathan Losito Doug's personality annoys me. Throttle house is okay and Matt Maran does a decent job. Straight Pipes is pretty good though. But I prefer Alex as well as Sofyan Bey and SavagaeGeese - I do suppose it depends on what vehicle segment you like to see reviewed. That's the nice thing about all of these channels..... something for everyone. You're bound to find at least 1 or 2 channels that cater to your preference and that's not even mentioning other channels like Raiti's Rides, EverydayDriver, and of course TFL or smaller market channels like Gold Pony, Driven Car Reviews With Tom Voelk, Forrest's Auto Reviews, MikesCarInfo , Prime Autotainment..... the list just goes on... plus some of the foreign Channels like Motorgraph World, and Asian Petrolhead.....

Does it have a sport setting on the cvt? I’d trade the heads up display for that. I’m in favor of the paddle shifters to offer more control engine breaking downhill and holding revs higher on backroads and in weather. Less about acceleration more about control. I have an outback and murano, though murano is far nicer and larger engine, I can’t tap into it because it lacks paddles. Nice add by Nissan. Though I’m not a fan of cvts the paddles are a much needed addition....and certainly an improvement.

There are some people who have had major issues with several Nissan vehicles, the maxima isn’t as common to have issues with. The generation Altima you mentioned specifically had an issue with the dashboard melting, and the newer nissans with a first generation CVT transmission developed by Jatco were known to fail mainly in the Altima and Sentra. Not all people will experience it as some vehicles are manufactured in different plants, but a lot of people were experiencing transmission issues, with the Sentra being the worst, followed by the Altima.

Rey Perez “Nissan has been in the news a lot lately, and unfortunately, it’s been for all the wrong reasons. Over the course of the last year or two, Nissan’s profits have plunged (and then plunged some more!) as sales of the company’s vehicles have started trending in the wrong direction. Nissan has also been forced to deal with a slew of ongoing Nissan CVT transmission problems in a variety of the company’s vehicles. Those who own Nissans have been forced to pay anywhere from $3,500 to $8,000 on average to fix Nissan CVT transmission problems. This has, in turn, forced Nissan to extend the warranties on many of their cars from five years or 60,000 miles to 10 years or 120,000 miles.” They are known for shaking, shuddering, breaking metal belts, and complete failure. Article was written this year. And I am a mechanic by trade.

@@scott8238 its still a QR25DE, a very old motor. Nothing is new on this Rogue. And this is from a person that owned 2 2nd gen Rogues.

@@Duderocksdj101 So what makes an all new engine better than one that is 80% new and still works fine? If it works, it works.

@@Duderocksdj101 Once again check your facts they are now using the 2.5 L PR25DD engine that is heavily revised. The QR25DE is not being used anymore.

Please tell me you guys are going to review and go over the new Nissan Pathfinder. I’ve been super excited and Nissan has been hiding a lot of info on it.

The thing is for the same price as a rogue Platinum awd with pano roof and all the little addons you could get a 2020 Rav4 Hybrid Limited AWD New that adds tons of features unavailable on the rogue like cooled seats/rearview camera not to mention gets 42 mpg, 40 more horsepower, tows, higher clearance underbody, much quieter ride cause hybrid, can idle for hours in ev mode, toyota resale value makes any price difference pretty even and the gas mileage gain of 12mpg combine and 15 city will save 1000 a year. Someone please tell me why I am wrong?

@@rafaelg9016 yes I'm a extremely big Nissan hater and will always be after owning 2 Nissan myself. If you want one then go ahead be my guess and let me know 5 years down the line how your experience go... For me I'll never own one for the rest of my life. Shity quality... don't get yourself stuck with a car that's still under warranty that nissan is doing everything in their power not to fix it...

Dude you aint wrong nor right. They are in the middle. Our 16 Rogue was super reliable till I wrecked it during rush hour traffic and it saved my life. However, our 19 Rogue has been nothing but problems and issues.

@@hmong_keeb_kwm you realize most cars are going to lose reliability overtime partly because of the owners way of treating it right?

I love these videos, I really do TFL vids are all brilliant viewing. but one thing that gets frustrating is that nearly every single thing reviewers (not just TFL) talk about is an optional extra. I use KZbin when I’m researching a new car but nowadays I assume that everything will cost me more. Still a good watch though. 👍👍
