My favorite passage to prove Jesus' divinity is Luke 7:36-50. It's long, but the ending is unmistakeable. In this passage, Jesus declares that we personally owe Him when we sin. What angel do we owe when we commit sin? Do we owe Gabriel anything? Do we need to beg forgiveness to Michael? But Jesus said we owe Him personally. He taught that our sins are on His account. King David said it best in Psalm 51:4 when he said, "against you, you only [meaning God] have I sinned." We are indebted to Him because He is God.

When a business shuts down, and its building and lot are no longer taken care of, what happens to the building and the lot? Because Paul said that the time would come when they would have itching ears, and would not tolerate sound doctrine, but be turned aside to fables. In Greek " Almighty God " is translated ( theos pantokrator ) , where pantokrator specifically means " Almighty " or " All Powerful " and " theos " means god. Now in reference to the word god. As we know the word god ( theos ) has 4 basic meanings. But let's focus on the one meaning that would be plausible. That meaning is >>> a representative , viceregent , magistrate , judge and wait for it ( Ambassador ). Isaiah 9:6. I understand that this is a great mystery for all mankind and for us who gave our lives to Christ and study as the scriptures tell us to do. But I have to tell you if you read the gospels, that is when Jesus is with his disciples as he walked the in his ministry he was, he was saw as the Son of God. I used to believe as you because that’s what I was taught. Since I’ve started studying for myself praying first that the Lord would illuminate my understanding. I found a lot in the Bible that was skipped over in sermons. I was very angry and hurt that I was taught half truths. But, I came to myself and realized that I was at fault for being complacent with studying for myself. Sunday sermons was enough for me then but not now. The only way to believe it is to see it in the Word for yourself! Read the scriptures for yourself!

"monogenos hious," from "mono," = only, "genos," = to beget, "hious" = son. Literally the phrase means "only begotten Son." If your Bible doesn't translate it this way, get rid of it and get a real Bible.
