Annabelle Delotavo Who’s ‘asking for donations’? I’ve never asked for a single thing! Hahahahaha Yeah, KZbin paid me $122 for all of last month - that’ll really pay my bills, sure! It’s very simple, actually - I either have to make enough doing KZbin to live off of, or when lockdown ends, I have to go back to work for 50 hours a week, which means no more KZbin. I can’t possibly do both. My last video, for instance, took four days to write, shoot, and edit. I make quality videos that require time, effort, and expense. If my viewers think they’re worthy of support, then they help me. If not, I’ll go back to my job. We’ll see.

You just never know. I met my asawa when I was 21. She was 7 years my _senior._ We dated for a few months, we hit it off; not long after something (I know it was God) in a flash of spontaneity hit me and said "This is the one, you'll never have another chance like this one." I popped the question a couple of weeks later and never regretted one second. 42 years, 3 kids, 5 grandkids later, she passed away suddenly and my heart was ripped out. It's only been about 8 months so the feelings are still raw; but I can't envision myself ever committing to anyone else -- our bond was that strong. She was responsible for everything I've become and I'm heartbroken that my reason for everything I did is no longer here. But my wife was the kind of girl that because she had a tough life growing up, would be the first to tell me "Suck it up, buttercup." I laugh just thinking about it. Never in my life did I ever think I'd find my one true love halfway around the world in Asia; but I did and God blessed me with the greatest gift I'll ever have. I look forward to when we're together again.

Mine is not jealous at all. Simply because she knows that I'm too introvert to ever approach any other woman privately. And concerning looking at other women (if it's only black ones from my side) she ignores and is amused about it, because she knows that I look but never touch. I won't give a damn if she would look at other guys with "wow-bodies" either. We are too fond of each other to show such childish behavior like giving a damn about a glance.

Glad to have found your channel. I met my Pinay girlfriend in California at work. She invited me to meet her family in Iloilo (Guimaras) and I agreed. It was a great experience to go the the Philippines. We married 3 years later, performing our wedding ceremony in Buenavista, Guimaras and we just celebrated our 24th anniversary. She and I are the same age, practically 60 now and ready to retire. We built a tiny home on the island and plan on spending at least six months out of the year there. I know of a lot of couples like us, but not many that are equals in age. But, it's OK, because a Filipina ages gracefully, and by the time she gets her first wrinkle, you are already too much in love to care. I find your "show", The Filipina Pea, to be quite entertaining and find you to be very intelligent. You remind me of my wife, Gina when we were younger. I am posting on your first video today, but I have been watching your channel for awhile now. I've been the Philippines on eight occasions so far. I've never been able to get to our neighbor island, Negros, much less Cebu. I have been invited to visit Gina's relatives in Cebu, time and time again. Hopefully, when we spend our first six month stretch, I can visit the rest of the Visayan Islands as well as Mindano and Palawan. I just want to wish you continued success of what you are doing and to acknowledge that you are appreciated here, halfway around the world. - Michael Bare

Dear Pea, I watch your videos regularly. I have walked the walks that many of your readers now are walking. I generally agree with you on most things. You really know what we need. I was married to my wife well before I found you. You have been a big help, when I have been organizing my thoughts, make sensei of things that I did not understand. Even if the relationship between a westerner and a Filipina does not end in marriage, it will be a good learning period for both people, provided that both conduct themselves in good faith. It was interesting to see one of your earlier productions. You have grown a lot! The people who write for those seeking love often tell us, both men and women, to not be afraid to show our vulnerability to ease the development in our relationships. You don't do that a lot, but you are not trying in involve me in a relationship. If I may say so, you did that in this film and it was so appealing! That last part, in which you come out in your towel at the end of the film, is one of the sexist parts of any film that I have seen in a long time. Keep up the good work. I think that I can testify that you speak I'm glad that I met and married my sweet wife. I'm glad that I "met" you, too.

If you’re looking for someone who’s going to take up a lot of your time call you at random times of the morning. And be interesting to hearing what you’re saying and smile and giggle. I want to share their culture with you and be open to treat you like family. Then you should hang around a Filipino person or date them. They are amazing people and I could not talk enough about these people I love talking hours about the Filipino country have amazing food everybody treats me nice there and they’re welcome to see you. And if you have food a courage you to try the purple ice cream fish salad pigs blood or the blueberry cake. They are my favorites. Filipinos work really hard to understand their partners. They’re amazing soulmates and they’re faithful

I married a Filipina 25 years ago, and we're very happy together, still crazy in love with each other, and have 2 beautiful grown up kids in college. It's so strange, though, that despite all that's right in our relationship, I can't stand most of their food! I'll agree with everything good you say about them, just not about the food. Oh, chicken adobo with pineapple is wonderful, and so are a few others, but not dinuguan, bagoong, or balut!

Parker Ford that’s some serious generalisations about Filipina’s! It’s this attitude that gets foreigners in trouble with women’s in the Philippines. The truth is they are just like women all over the world. Do you think these traits apply to middle class of wealthy Filipina’s? Because I highly doubt you have mixed with these socially.

Most that I have encountered online are perverts but I still believe that in God's time I will be able to find my future husband. I just need to keep waiting and praying intensely and be more patient. If you were able to wait for 12 years I can do also. I don't need his money because I have a stable job and it's lifetime. I am a teacher. All I want is to love and be loved and to be with him for the rest of our lives.

SOME men want Typically older men wing play games. Don't have the time or energy to lie and cheat. But we still think if sex. But I know I want a trusting mate and I know my older male friends will look at younger girls but they also know they can't possibly keep up or have similar values.. I've been married to my filipina wife of 16 years and counting. We didn't email back when we started in 2000; we contacted the old fashioned way by regular mail. She mentioned the L word a little early but never once did she mention the M word (money). And now she makes her own money with a full time job. I hear other men's stories and I realize I'm lucky. Good women are hard to find even among so many who just gold dig, but they are out there. It takes a long time but it is worth it.
