Hearing the 5th story now as an adult and internally thanking my parents for being so strict about sleepovers, growing up hearing so many stories about parents molesting not only their child, but their children’s friends too 😖

Dementia is an awful disease. My dad is in the early stages and he’s not even my dad when he has an episode. It’s hard to fathom, but as crazy as it sounds, in her mind, she was doing the right thing. Dementia literally shrinks the brain. Deteriorates the tissue. I know the other person was joking, but it kind of I’d like being affected by drugs, but sadly, you can’t stop it and fix it. So, it’s honestly pretty sad that the lady had no one around to help her. Bc it will eventually take her out and in a very sad state.

13:20 brought back a memory I had forgotten about. I was 18 and with my first bf, we had our first apartment which was really close by my older sisters apartment. She helped us out with doing laundry from time to time, or bringing us to work. But this one truck I recall would drive by and circle the areas we would be walking. I recalled this truck had this type of hunting Jeep lights on the tophood of the car. So everytime I would hear this truck first due to the exhaust he had in the truck. But literally we walked from our place up to this park, I seen the truck drive by and again while we cut through this park, then the forth time when we were standing out front of my sisters apartment. I was standing with my bf and his friend when this incident happened, and it was very scary being agirl by your bf who's also young and inexperienced in fighting and his friend who again no experience at all fighting. When stuff happens that makes you terrified and you only have people who you know never fought before, could be easily overcome, it's scary. Really makes you feel vulnerable.

Im just speculating, but story 12, sounds like they gave them the phone to potentially track it later on, hoping to hit them at wherever they were staying Either the guy remembered they gave them the phone, or realizing the signal was lost , then they freaked and rushed at them while they could've. Story 4.....I don't know why OP spent a large portion talking about how they're not crazy and don't have any enemies. Peeping toms/creeps like in that story don't seek people out for personal reasons and they usually target the same home more than once. They're just random/crimes of opportunity, it's not some big mystery. 🤷‍♀️ Story 5 was just all around horrible. The whole thing was so messed up.

I think we’re internally try to justify the crazy things bc humans, by nature, need a reason for things. The OP was probably subconsciously trying to figure out why they were targeted.

Imagine being scared of an old, demented lady.
@BeingAMomAndBeyond
@BeingAMomAndBeyond 8 ай бұрын
Imagine not being. Likely bc you don’t understand how the disease works. Any nurse will quickly tell you that ppl with dementia are some of the scariest and most abusive patients they encounter. Peep the stats on abuse of nurses who work in nursing homes. I promise you’ll be shook. My father has dementia and during an episode, he is not my dad. My mother, whom he has worshiped my entire life, is now scared of him. Old lady or not, unless I was in reach of my protection, which I always usually am, I would be fearful too. Because though I would, who really wants to have to try to fight off an old lady? It just feels wrong. Case and point, you don’t play around with diseases that affect the brain. That old lady might intend to take you out, with a physically strength you might not expect, might I add (the adrenaline can increase their strength in a way that is hard to fathom), just as quickly as any serial killer or drugged up lunatic. No joke.

OP in story 4 is old enough to know peekaboo Charlies don't need a reason to prowl. You don't need an ex or an enemy and you surely don't have to dress proactively to attract the wrong attention. The fact you're home alone with disabled parents is enough.

I just realized my phone autocorrected provocatively to proactively so I appreciate you guys not trolling me over that. Y'all know how people are. So yeah, totally glad to actually get real responses instead of a bunch of trolling over autocorrect. I'm really curious about her mental health. We all have issues but she did spend a great deal of time on the hallucination thing. I believe she may have mentioned she had a prior hallucination or something. Idk, I've listened to a bunch of videos since this one but I feel like she mentioned having a previous hallucination episode and then steps how to determine whether it's a hallucination or not. I probably should've went back and scanned the transcript before I commented but I really don't wanna have to start my comment over so y'all can correct me if I'm wrong. Somebody mentioned in a story how to determine if something is real or hallucination and I believe OP did whatever and got a reaction from him. The small details are hazy. But anyway, I do remember all the time OP spent trying to convince the audience she wasn't having hallucinations so I kinda feel maybe there's some kind of schizophrenia or maybe a paranoia disorder she has to constantly deal with or some kind of trauma has happened to her specifically and she wasn't believed, she might not even have any paranoia/schizophrenia issues but maybe something has happened and either parents or an partner has been oh, you know that didn't happen.. you're just making it up... that person wouldn't do that...or maybe you can't trust yourself because you have such and such. Plus the fact she's my age and should've learned long ago predators are opportunists. A lot going on with OP and honestly I feel terrible for her because it sounds like she can't trust herself, like her whole self including instincts, intuition, what she hears and also probably what she sees too. All that convincing has me convinced she spends a lot of time having to convince...that's slightly abnormal behavior.

40 weeks is correct, 9 months is the misnomer
@BeingAMomAndBeyond
@BeingAMomAndBeyond 8 ай бұрын
@@MoonWomanStudiosthis actually drives me insane. Because it feels like 100 years, but if 40 weeks is 10 months, how are there 52 weeks in a year? That would be 3, 4 week months to go when there’s only 2. The issue is most months actually equate to 4.35 weeks. So 40 weeks, in actuality, it’s closer to 9 months than 10. I know you didn’t ask, but this has literally kept me awake at night. So I thought I’d share my research. 🤣

Women are usually pregnant a little longer than 9 months.
@BeingAMomAndBeyond
@BeingAMomAndBeyond 8 ай бұрын
@@Dolly_GirL_x exactly right. 9.4 months to be exact. Including the two weeks tacked on to the beginning, in which you’re not “technically” pregnant. But even if you round it, you still get 9, not 10, and this is one of those little pet peeves that bothered me so much, I legit spent a few hours making the math actually math. The biggest point here is the fact that 40 weeks simply doesn’t equal 10 months. It just doesn’t work that easily. Same premise as leap year, day counts differing in the different months, etc. But ppl will still argue with their last dying breath that it’s 10 months. Whatever helps them sleep I guess. Figuring it out helped my adhd brain so I certainly can’t hate on em. 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️

I feel like the writer of the first story could have skipped explaining how SMS works. Just jump in with "im a dog sitter and once had a message saying...."

Most of these ppl are just regular ppl who probably don’t normally write stories. They don’t really get what details are relevant to the point, so they just share what’s relevant to them. Apparently, that part was relevant to them for some reason.

I live in a residential neighborhood, not the greatest area, but relatively close neighbors, and generally quiet, especially since im up rather late, 4-5am on a typical night and hve seen some strange goings on over the last 25years, but i would love to have unwelcome visitors anytime. With three Cane Corso Italian mastiffs, and two German Sheppards next door, who would die for me, im more protected than the president.. 😂 they hear a pin drop, and act accordingly. 😂
