Cane Corso dogs are also known as Italian Mastiffs. They were colosseum dogs. They are fierce, loyal, and not easily controlled by anyone that isn't their person. They should automatically come with a requirement for insurance. I say this as someone who loves one.

Cane Corso. The Italian version of a mastiff, only grumpier. They are monster-sized beasts who can be calm and relaxed … or wound up and wild. Good protection dogs, but they have to have very serious training, as does the owner.

He's not winning because he had a Court order to have his dog muzzled at all times. Secondly he didn't have the insurance he was supposed to carry on the dog. Most importantly, his dog attacked a kid. Doesn't take a person with a PhD to figure out whom is at fault.

I love Caine Corsos, but they need knowledgeable, responsible owners. Too many ignorant people buying them for "looks". They are expensive to own and require a lot of training and attention. It makes me ill to think the Defendant probably is giving his dog neither.
