+Shawn Kuse Here i'm using lunch meat because I need an edge since I'm not an owner..but I tell people to start with just basic healthy treats or fat free hotdogs or something like that...then move to basic kibble as quick as you can.

@@alexandra-rm1qd don't tease her...only use food to lure and reward, then phase out food within a week and only give food after it's completed.

Great videos, I've learned a lot, thank you! I am working with my pup and she is getting the sit pretty good, but always uses her paws to grab at my hand every time she sits. Do I wait until she puts her paw down to give her the food/treat? or does that disconnect too much from the sit?

+antz W When I go to other peoples houses I often use lunch meat or boiled chicken. I need an edge since I don't know the puppy myself. As a puppy owner, you can do that for just a couple days and quickly start using there daily kibble.

I did sit before so she could learn faster and wont have to do extra work for her to learn the word sit

What do you use as a treat. Too many treats can give them diahreah.

Just depends...I like real meat treats/food that's like jerky. But I'll quickly try to wean puppies to using their kibble if I can...but just to work a little the first couple of days...get some focus, I'll use lunch meat if I have to and then quickly wean to their food.

you need to look how to reinforce behaviors and wean off food. dog doesn't see food b4 obedience command helps as well
