What advantage is there of adding use of wikis as opposed to a knowledgebase without wikis. I see the advantage of ClickUp Brain with wikis, but if I don't have ClickUp brain, are wikis more useful than just a knowledgebase?

It's more of a feature for ClickUp Brain (mainly for prioritization when asking AI), but regardless it's nice to stamp something with the Verified Wiki badge for easier finding, etc.

Do you recommend writing SOPs within ClickUp itself? I'm trying to push that for my team, but leadership pushes back saying "if we ever move away from ClickUp we want to be able to take all of our documentation with us"

Yeah, there is always pros and cons to both. It depends on your needs. And if the team is actually using your SOPs. Regardless of the tool, you need to make sure your SOPs are actually connected to the tasks that need them. If they aren't, they probably won't get used. Tools like Guru are going to provide better knowledge management features than ClickUp does. The verifications, announcements, permission settings, etc. are helpful features to have. Plus, of course, if you leave ClickUp, you don't have to worry about migrating, but you'll still have to worry about reconnecting SOPs to tasks so it'll be a big switch regardless. However, ClickUp Brain + having everything in one system, and not having to pay for another tool is great.

@@ZenPilot I appreciate that, thank you. That's a good assessment of the situation. Does ClickUp have a good export feature? I think we would be more comfortable using ClickUp to manage our knowledge and SOPs if we knew we could easily export our information if needed.

Can you do a mock project management walk through on a project like web design? I like the saying "you wan the process living where the work gets done", but it's kind of disorganized for us the way we're doing it still
