Lolz me when I discovered dr stone. My chemistry teacher was a complete, misogynistic dickbag that EVERYONE hated. The head of the science department was a woman, and he could not stand that and was always challenging and disrespecting her. There wasn't a single teacher who wasn't relieved to see that fucker go when he retired, and I'm a girl so yeah, he completely ruined chemistry for me until I found dr stone haha.

Mercury is dangerous but it isn't as dangerous as teachers and and books make it look,in a controlled setting,it's okay to work with. What is dangerous and what they should be telling us about is benzene and it is present in most cold drinks as a product of sodium benzoate(a popular preservative) and the acids present in them and millions of people drink them everyday. This is just one of many examples of actually useful information that is never taught to us in school.
