I think a mezzanine leveled brooder in the new chicken tractor would be a wonderful idea and an easier start right now. I liked the idea someone suggested earlier of building it to where it could somehow fold up when not in use. The building plans you two have rolling around in your heads.....you could do it!!!

Got to love a man who actually reads and follows instructions! 😂 Got a frantic call from my daughter years ago to hurry and help.because her husband was going to get his drill. "He's going to ruin the expensive wooden swing set cause he can't get the holes to line up!". He was sure mad when I asked him to undo every thing he had done. When I asked for the instructions my daughter had to look for them. Then we had to look in several other places for all the parts. After reading the instructions, laying everything out in other and me pointing to what parts went together next the set was together in no time. And guess what.. no drill needed to drill extra holes. 😂😂😂

Nice Job on the Greenhouse, you guys work good together. Too cold for me Al, I would wait for better weather. Hey Al, when you feed the goats, you could add maybe a 2x8 on top of the 4x4 so the goats would have a better place to stand, I always see Hope and the other goats trying to stand on that 4x4 at the bottom.

Al, you never cease to amaze me! Great work and great looking! I am in north central Texas and am trying to grow, green beans, okra, yellow squash, beets, sunflowers, marigolds and peppers. I just grow outside in worked ground that is amended due to clay soil. Last year my yellow squash, okra, kale, beets and salad peppers did the best. Our winter was too mild so there are loads of bugs I have to battle.

I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We get all four seasons, and the weather, for the most part is mild. We call it green country. I moved here 6 years ago from the Desert Southwest where very little will grow. My friends that were born and raised here, have told me everything grows in this area. I started a very small garden this year with tomatoes (of course) cucumbers, strawberries, lettuce, mint, and okra. Planted marigolds to help keep the bugs away.

FYI... when you pull your plastic be up ready to go before dawn, I've done many greenhouses, as within a hour of sunrise you will get internal heating occurring naturally that will cause the plastic sheet to rise while you are securing the plastic. Also be sure that you have extra hands present for the pulling of the sheet because if that naturally occurring heat rises from under plastic you will need extra people to hold the plastic sheet down wile others are securing the plastic down. This has to be done in a super fast manner otherwise damage can occur to the large plastic sheet. Alternative it to do it at sundown with lots of artifical lighting, no sunlight - no natural occurring heat being generated under the plastic sheet. Also be sure its planned to be a super calm day, 5 mph wind makes huge difference when you are holding 50 × 100 sheet of plastic down & trying to secure it in place.

Here in Perth Western Australia its winter veggie garden time. Our climate is quite mild so we are growing peas, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, onions, garlic, pak choy, celery, potatoes, silverbeet and beetroots. Almost all from seed as it was hard to source seedlings with the Corona lockdown and panic buying. Still, it has spurred me to build more veggie beds and be resourceful. Its a small yard so I'm using small beds and pots. I'm looking forward to being more self-sufficient. Loving watching the hoop house develop! God bless you Lumnah family
