Im Dominican, and I grew up watching my mom and aunts always serving the men first at gatherings and THEN the children. We sat down at the table and were not allowed to start eating till we were all there. And when we finished we couldn’t just leave, we stayed till the adults (male) were done eating and ready to move to another activity. When I came to the US I saw a completely different way of life and as I grew older I adapted to it, identified myself as a “feminist” and hated those customs we were taught… I’m so glad by the grace of God, the Holy Spirit transformed my life and allowed me to see how valuable it was despite the bad times, that I was brought up surrounded by a community of women that although didn’t have Christ, they knew how to honor their husbands. Thank you both, because as I walk with Jesus, I can receive wise counsel from you both And i LOVE that you guys are here in Orlando!

I'm Dominican as well, also grew up seeing my dad being served first, we respected his spaces, etc. and I am thankful that I recognize the importance of this.

I'm watching this 7 months later, after a major conflict with my husband of 7 years regarding roles, submission, and respect. I am truly grateful for this as it has made me realize my mistakes and how much I have been a rebellious wife, God has trully blessed me with a good husband 🙏 God bless your union.

Never thought I’d love a video that challenges me as a wife. Talk about God opening up my heart to hear and allow change to happen. I’m in a place in my life where I am open & willing…. And overall hungry for God to transform me in all the areas of my life. & this wide area is probably the most important! This video has sowed a beautiful seed in me and I can’t wait to put it into practice in my life with my husband. Praise God for Ken & Tabatha 🤍 blessings sent your way!

In a healthy committed courtship and this was sooo encouraging and beautiful. even in the body of Christ some of these things aren’t done or acknowledged, but I feel so strongly that loving my husband even in this way is apart of my calling when that time comes. Soooo helpful God bless you guys

This video was absolutely fantastic! I take great pleasure in giving my husband massages. Whether it's just us two or with our little boys, we love embarking on road trips together. He enjoys driving while I soak in the scenery, and afterward, I'm always ready to give him a relaxing massage as a token of appreciation for safely navigating us to our destinations. I’ll need to look into getting a massage table. That was a good idea, Ms. Tabatha! Growing up, I witnessed my mom serving my dad his plate of food first, followed by my brothers and me. This tradition of showing love through serving was passed down from my grandma to my grandpa as well. It brings me joy to continue this gesture for my husband, who always expresses his gratitude with a smile and a warm thank you when I hand him his plate. I’m passionate about cooking and baking so I anticipate hearing their opinions. 😆 It’s always a win to my husband! Even though I work part-time, I strive to make my husband's return home as smooth and effortless as possible even if I’m not there. Each morning, I ensure our boys have their toiletries and pajamas neatly laid out on the bed. As we homeschool our oldest, who is in kindergarten, I have all his schoolwork prepared and organized, ready to tackle the day's lessons. My husband selflessly dedicates himself to our family, never once voicing a complaint. It's my aim to cultivate an atmosphere of peace and love in his life, just as he does for me 🕊️🌸. Embracing a servant's heart towards each other brings about a profound sense of beauty and purity in our marriage. 🙏🏾🌷

Thank you so much for this. As a Christian single woman, I desire a husband that loves to pour into youth & men, because I love pouring into women, youth, etc. Yes I’m enjoying this so much & I believe I need to learn to honor & respect the men in my life, like my brother, dad, etc… it’s been challenging with my brother, but I learned that I can end up treating my partner the same way if I don’t practice this positivity toward all men. Thank you Ken & Tab for such a great service example

Thank you for this. My husband is new to his faith. I have been struggling to start acting differently towards him because now he is seeing things different and acting different. This is going to help me so much. It is giving me new guidelines. I should have been doing them before but it was hard because he was an alcoholic. It made our life very hard. We have been together 20 years. He has been sober for almost a year. It had been so great.

This is so good and a helpful reminder for us wives that are married and been married for a length of time. I’ve been married for ten years and I still have to remind myself to keep the fire in the marriage going in spite of the kids, work life, etc. my husband comes first and I have to honor him as such. Every now and again I do ask my husband if there is anything I can improve on and majority of the time, he is pleased but there are times where I did have to pause and work on other areas. Watching this video has given me a different perspective for sure. Side note: I am looking into buying a massage table now 😂❤

Wow what an amazing way to care for your husband! I’m so taken back by how you, Tabatha, treat your husband. It seems like you have such a loving marriage. You’re setting such a great example for us young women who didn’t have the opportunity to see their parents loving each other well. Growing up I watched my mother dishonour my father over and over again and vice versa. Even as a child I saw the effect it had on their well being. After watching this it made me believe in godly love. I hope one day God brings me a husband so I can treat him like the king he is❤️ God I pray that you help me to honour my future husband in this way. This was so beautiful guys, really. Thank you so much for making this video and I’m excited for the next video too!

I love how you communicate with each other. How you clarify if you are hearing things correctly from each other and correct how you mean what you said if it wasn’t heard correctly from the other. How you communicate in your home. This is the first episode I’ve watched from you. ( That I remember anyway) Again new, I hear also how you’ve directed your kids to respect when so many parents are exhausted and don’t want to put that time and energy in and kids run the show. If there isn’t an episode on that, that would be great to hear. So many dads get put on the back burner by the entire house.

Praise God for giving us practical wisdom how to apply his word in day to day life! I therefore bind myself to know how and act upon doing good to my god-ordained spouse all the days of my life, likewise binding my god-ordained spouse to be good to me all the days of his life, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone treating me unright, binding to hell every lack of treating one another rigtheously in my god-ordained marriage, in accordance with this word and proverbs 31:12, colossians 3:19, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤!
