This one was written by bassist John Deacon while *he was teaching himself to play keyboards* (electric piano) - he wrote it for and about his lovely bride Veronica. They are still married (just celebrated their 47th anniversary back on January 18th) and had 6 children. John went ahead and played the electric piano part himself because Freddie refused , preferring a real grand piano.

Watch Morris Minors, Stutter Rap and This is the chorus, John Deacon does a cameo in both, as a rocker in a wig, and as a servant bringing champagne

@@Semajsenrab72 in “This is the Chorus”, John was the studio tea-boy - that ( his outfit, and the little arm-dance he did after setting the tea tray down) was a spoof of how Rick Astley was discovered. Astley started off as a tea-boy at the studio before he sang “Never Gonna Give You Up”. The “production team” (pop music factory) of Stock Aitken Waterman produced a goodly number of 80s music acts.

This is bass player John Deacon's song, it's written for his wife Veronica that he married in 1975 and they are still together with 6 kids, isn't it just gorgeous? John is the secret weapon of Queen and has written some amazing songs.

Brian Mays repertories of sounds, out of that same home made ass guitar, is perplexing 3 decades later still. He can't even explain it himself; he doesn't know enough about music to understand his own greatness, which is just ADORABLE. God bless this gentle human.

MTV was not launched until 1981. So music video did not really exist until just before then. That is why most Pre 81 videos are just taped live performances. Queen actually pioneered making videos we'll be fore then. They usually played them during concert brakes or before the concert started.

Mia, if you find yourself with a spare hour or so, please lie down in a silent room where you will not be disturbed and place some good headphone over your ears and listen to the final Queen album 'Made in Heaven'. Freddie died during the recording of this album and Brian and Roger finished-off the vocals that Freddie didn't get to complete. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. But if I am asking too much, please do a reaction on 'Mother Love' from that album. And, if possible, please use headphones so you get the full benefit. All the best to you and yours, Mark. P.S. Subbed.

I'm glad you like the original version. The original video of somebody to love is one of their best. The harmony in that song is unbelievable, all of their voices are on full display. Freddie Mercury was a huge fan of Aretha Franklin and she was the inspiration for that song. If you want to react to that I think you'll love it. Also thank you for another great video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZrNoZaLq5KVbq8
