Thanks Jay....This was one of the first Dokken songs I ever learned. I remember a buddy and I as kids jamming on this song, and as a kid being able to play the solo made me kind of proud at the time. Thanks Dave

Very very cool Dave! I can only imagine what it would have been like to hear that for the first time. I discovered Dokken in the late 80s when they were breaking up sou first song to grab my attention was Kiss of Death. Amazing band and songs :) Have an awesome week dude :)

You too Jay....I grew up in a cool time, waiting for the new Albums to come to my local record store, and then trying to figure out the songs. My friend and I could usually come up with close representation with each of us figuring parts out and then putting it together.! I look back now, and some of those songs we learned way wrong...but we had fun.

Thanks so much for this lesson Jay! I am a lynch fanatic and I could never figure out what he was doing on that last little lick after the octaves in the intro; I always thought he played a couple harmonics and then whammied it. I like how you denied that and yours is the only lesson that I found that is super simple to follow. Love the guitar and you have George's playing down to a science! Much appreciated I am a big fan and love your lessons 🤘

You made me realize some of the tabs I was seeing were accurate for the chorus. I just second guessed them because it did not sound right to me, but hearing you play it made me realize they were right for the E5-D5-E5 part of the chorus. I guess it is some effect he uses in the song that makes part of it sound fancier than just a simple cord change.
