Maybe felt bad for Dolly being asked about the surgery, so randomly? I mean, “This is a delicate question… have you had any work done,” is a bit of a cringeworthy question, that most celebs wouldn’t take kindly to, but clearly Dolly’s honest and not a delusional liar like most celebrities. She was raised right! Ha. The obvious celebs, who deny their surgery, are thinking they have us fooled. But Dolly has said many times that the joke is on the public, cause she’s aware of her image, and how she created “Dolly” after being inspired by the town “trollop” as a kid.. and anyone thinking she’s a dumb blonde or whatever has clearly never heard the woman speak a word. Another thing, this interview, despite cutting out early, was largely comprised of questions she’s been asked in EVERY other interview she’s ever done. She just tends to alternate the answers she provides. She was quite reserved with her humor in this one! 🤣

Pat obviously new the story behind dollys youth when he asked her these questions.There was nothing creepy about it......the lady was quite relaxed and happy to answer.She wasn't uncomfortable or uneasy.You couldn't be anymore wrong.....

I don’t think it was creepy, she was comfortable, but I also don’t think he went into the questions very gracefully. And yet, go watch any other interview with Dolly-they’re ALL likely comprised of these questions. Even to this day, she’s 77 in 2023, and both male and female reporters are asking her all these same dumb questions. Surgery, breasts, makeup, earthquakes and fires. Maybe they’ll discuss or get into the music at SOME point, but even now, it’s all these same questions. The town tramp inspired her style, her big family, her husband she met at the laundromat, never seeing him cause she’s traveling so much, married 35 years but together for about 3 of those years, etc. All the questions she’s heard before, so you’d think the media would try to be more creative or fun with it, if they’re all gonna repeat themselves. It must be exhausting answering the same crap, that’s the real burden of showbiz.
