The more you loved the deeper it hurts but remember this-- they went from the physical into your very heart. I talk to my grandparents when I visit their graves & spend time with them just as I did when they were living. She knows your love & you will get feelings & signs that let you know she is with you forever ✨be good to yourself in the days, weeks, months, years ahead - and let your tears clean your soul because they will✨

To Chris Polston. Im sorry to hear about your Grandmother. In 1 year, We lost Our Oldest Sister without any warning, She had a massive heart attack. 6 weeks later Our Oldest Son lost one of his very best friends, he was murdered by his Own Brother. We barely made it through 2017. When on January 6 2018 Our Youngest Sister went to the Hospital with a bad backache. When We were hit with even. More bad news, She had Cancer. Although She tried, She lost her battle in 2 months and 6 days. We hadn't accepted losing Our Oldest Sister and now We lost Our Youngest. Four months later her Youngest Son had passed away. What helps me is I know they are now my Angels. I know they are still with Us. Your Grandmother was and still is a special Person. She is now your Angel. There is so much darkness in the World right now, that is coming to light. Im not saying it will get easier in time. But you will have good times and during those good times you will think of her. And She will be there just like She will be there with you when your going through a bad time. Life will never be the same, but it will get a little easier day by day. No two People mourn the same way. But that doesn't mean you don't hurt and feel the pain the same way. Look for signs that she will be sending you. Remember you will see her again, and She is always with you. God Bless. Stay Safe.

Way to make me cry Dolly! I have been listening to your songs since I was a litte girl. And I still love to listen to Coat of Many Colors and Jolene! But truth be told, I really needed to hear that message today. I am so over all the violence and everything. Two of my very close friends, truck drivers, were yanked out of their truck and beat up really bad. Amy was in a coma for 4 days. Kent....well, he died from his injuries and left Amy by herself. Me, I'm angry, sad, confused. Speechless. How could people be so caught up in their mindset that they would actually kill somebody because of it. I'm tired of the "------ Lives Matter" why cant it read, All Lives Matter because we all bleed red! RED BLOOD MATTERS" HUMAN BEINGS MATTER! ALL GOD' S CHILDREN MATTER! SO WHY CANT WE EVER JUST GET ALONG FOR 5 LOUSY MINUTES? Tgank you Dolly, helping me through yet another heartbreak and keeping me on a positive level

Ken Simmons, beautiful words. If Kenny was still hear on Earth with Us. I could hear him say. That's beautiful, there's a song in there, somewhere. Just like he did when he ran into a Son of an Old Friend. Who said to Kenny. I was just thinking about you the other day. You know you can't make Old Friends. Kenny called up a writer Friend that both he and Dolly knew. He told him the story and what one of his Old Friends had said. Kenny asked his Song Writer Friend to please write the song. Because Kenny wanted to sing it with Dolly. I can't wait until more of the Great Singers like Dolly start their Concerts up again. And when life gets good again. I personally would love to take a trip to where Dolly and Family lived. I've heard Dolly say during an interview. The house meant so much to her. She bought the property. And She had her Brother, redo it. Back to what it looked like when She they were growing up. She said She paid millions to make the house look like it only cost a few cents. They did a great job making it look like the way it did when Her Parents bought it for their Family. Dolly has a special way of saying things. Barbara Walters was doing an interview way back when. She asked Dolly, why do you dress this way and put all this makeup on ?. Dolly's response was great. She replied, I do it because I can. Im very comfortable with the way I look and sing and act. And it's because that I look feel comfortable within my self, that I feel comfortable dressing up in pretty things and wearing pretty make up. Many years back Barbara would make comments to even some of the best Actors and Actresses, like Elizabeth Taylor, for being overweight. That's sad. Barbara didn't really have the right to do or say nasty comments to People who are comfortable within themselves. God Bless and Stay Safe Everyone.

But there are so many people I haven't hugged recently, and it would be nice to go out shopping like a normal person, maybe try on some clothes or browse in a bookstore. It's just so *wearing* to live in lockdown. But at least I can listen to your music and learn from your attitude of hope and joy. Keep singing - that's the only way we'll get through this, if we all sing loud enough.

This song will, sadly, never be played on the radio or TV. Why not? Simply put, Dolly Parton is "too old"--although she's the first to say that "you're only as old as you feel." Before Kenny Rogers died, he publicly lamented how the Country-Western and Pop stars of yesteryear, whom we all love (Dolly Parton, Charley Pride, Loretta Lynn, Crystal Gayle, Tom T. Hall, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams Jr., The Oak Ridge Boys, Barbara Mandrell, Emmylou Harris, John Schneider, Kris Kristofferson, Bobby Goldsboro, Olivia Newton-John, Gordon Lightfoot, Paul Simon, and "Partridge Family" matriarch Shirley Jones--to name a few), are no longer given air time. With their "over-mature" voices (allegedly difficult to manipulate using computer synthesizers), gray hair, wrinkles, and lack of sex appeal (let's face it, they don't twerk!), these legendary singers don't capture today's preferred young, age 18-35 generation. That's the sad reality of a modern, multi-billion-dollar, sex-driven music-business industry. As for me, I'll take the "oldies but goodies" anytime!

I'm just hearing this song. I posted something last night on FB that I'm now going to share here. I posted it before hearing the song. The world needs more people like Dolly Parton. " In my opinion, Dolly shows us what it means to be a Christian. Loving, giving, kind, compassionate, open minded, funny and she is not harsh, or selfish, or judgmental. Some people claim Christianity, but they don't act very Christian. For those non-believers out there, listen to Dolly and you'll get a good idea of what the real deal Christian looks and sounds like in the real world. That's not well written and it doesn't really convey my feelings thoroughly, but it's a starting place. Laugh if you will, but look in the mirror and ask yourself if others would see God in you? Dolly if you ever read this, you exemplify the life of Jesus and you are truly a Gift From God to us all.

I had no food for four days and my Caseworker I just met got me in a program of the where they will bring me food, lunch and dinner to help me out and as I’m listening to Dolly sing throughout the song I think about how the little things that what’s matters not the big things and everyone is a helping hand now and then, and I love the way she sings that through the song that we all need to stay together and help each other through thick and thin right now, and go forward and think positive at the same time, this video is a special beautiful song that she sings from the heart and she’s amazing love always Melissa PS I am grateful for the support and love I got through this week and the helping hand I need it and that’s the way it should be everyone helping each other and things get tough and Dolly is awesome love always Melissa God bless everyone tonight. The world is in a state of disarray and confusion due to this covid19 virus. The world is in a deep state of depression because so many lives have been taken and they had to die alone not getting to say their goodbyes to their loved ones. Dear Mrs. Parton. I would first like to introduce myself to you.... You know when I was younger I've always loved music. I was like an entrepreneur an a kareoking all through the years. An I adored all kinds of music. But what I wanted to say is I had a calling for this kind of work. But I was shy. An my family was very traditional. so I couldn't pursue it. That's a little history about myself.... But the real reason why I'm texting you is. Years are going by to fast. An I wanted to say I'm a big fan of yours . An I adore country music. But not all. But when I found you. I was very devistated. I said she's so attractive so polite so talented so we'll dressed. Even with that song Jolene. That there is no words to describe you. Just your the greatest. An I feel your the queen of country music. An I just wanted to send my greetings an introduce myself. I hope we meet an talk again. Stay healthy. Drive carefully. Be safe. Enjoy the holidays. Yours truly. Maria new jersey......
