@97scooter1 : This recording wasn't recorded in 1953, trust me , though the picture may be from 1953. It is a well made "cover" that was recorded, possibly, in the early 1960's. Just proves that "covering" went both ways. The Dells also "covered" this Skyliners classic.

@Jazzzydon : Jimmy Beaumont , lead vocals of The Skyliners and the groups manager, Joe Rock, wrote THIS I SWEAR. Don Julian's version, was the cover version, made possibly, in the early 1960's.

Of course this is a Don Julian & the Meadowlarks 1960-ish cover of the Skyliners' hit record! The photo is 1950-ish and that's what fools some, and you can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time!
