Flash could be playing a "high probability winning build" over and over again and would win most games but would learn nothing, OR, he could be experimenting lots of builds, and losing a lot of games, but that would allow him to keep learning and optimizing everything. He chose the 2nd option.

Your videos showed up in my feed a few weeks ago. I realized brood war games were still a thing and that flash was still a thing and had to click right away. Been watching every day since. Starcraft 2 always fell short due to bad balancing/design from the start in my opinion. I'm glad that brood war is still around as it has always been so much more enjoyable to watch. Really enjoy your commentary. You explain things in a way so that someone who hasn't followed the meta in probably close to a decade can easily understand and follow along. Flash is clinically analyzing what timings and movements do the most to get the result or reaction he wants from opponents. The best example of this idea was the season where Flash went Random, and because he knew the game inside and out better than anyone else, he was able to abuse the information his opponents saw to force them down a line of reactions that he wanted. Flash is the greatest of all time because of his dedication to understanding the 'why' as much as the 'how'.

Flash is washed up, just accept it, everything has its time, is part of natura, im not saying that he cannot play a excellent game, but the gap between the very top players in the world is thinner and thinner, a lot uf people is catching up. Guy like dewalt takes games off him now. The Meta is changing and even the terran race as the dominant force is at risk. I forese a Protoss dominated scene in the not far future. I thing if protoss can play percfectly towards a late game with good economy and perfect trading Protoss should be able to win more. They just have more tools, iv seen games where Zerg is just hopeless vs the protoss ball, the same problem with carrieres vs Terran. Protoss is OP, if u actually can get into that late tech with a good economy. Terran doesnt have a magic tech that just wins you the game. 3-3 is the strongest army but the tactics for protoss are limitless.

I need to know, why after Flash lost a number of SCVs to harassment at his expansion did he not build more SCVs? It seems as if he made his mind up and decided that the game was going to end here and now, win or lose we don't need any more workers. It seems like an unnecessary risk to pigeonhole yourself into only one potential outcome whereas making more workers keeps you in the game should you win the next fight. What's the high level explanation for this?
